Vacation with family!
A guest from DeBary, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in May, 2016 The property was as described. The property manager/staff were very helpful when we were making reservation and knowledgeable regarding property. Checking in and out was easy ! Beach house was very nice! The furniture was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pots and pans were well used! We brought our own beach chairs, beach towels and pool toys as none was provided. The 3 pools are small but adequate. I would definitely stay there again!
Shelia P. from Charleston, SC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2015 We reserved three beachfront condos and each condo was fabulous. The staff at Beachside Colony were not only professional, but very friendly.
A guest from Tell City, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2015 We love the location of Beachside Colony. It's on the beach, it has 3 small swimming pools, and a bar/grille. It's great for our families.
A guest from Elizabethton, TN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in May, 2015 The one thing this apartment has going for it is the view. Other than that, it needs a re-do. Each room only has one 60 watt lamp, so don't plan on reading. If you want to watch television in bed, be ready to jump up each time you need to adjust the sound or change channel. The sliding door is terrible to try to open, the dryer had to be fixed before we could use it, the dishwasher needs repair, no light in the walk-in-closet in the twin-bed room, (switch needed to be replaced), one twin bed tended to come apart, and the décor is heavy brown. No extras here. Even a new mat at the front door would be nice. We have stayed at other very nice condos at Beachside, but this did not measure up.
A guest from Colbert, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in September, 2014 Loved the view and location. Living room furniture was awful and master bed was very uncomfortable (lop sided).Condo overall was dirty.
A guest from Fulton, Missouri does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2014 We enjoyed our time on TybeeIsland however we were not happy with the condition and cleanliness of our unit. We have rented 3 times at Beach Colony and this unit will cause us to look elsewhere next time. Front bedroom blinds broken, wires hanging from missing smoke alarm, side of kitchen cabinet had a chunk of Formica missing, rug in family room extremely dirty, tile floors extremely dirty, grout black and was tan, master bath toilet was not working properly and had to be repaired while there, fan blades had caked on dust, ice maker worked but would not dispense. general appearance of unit dirty and tired.
Reviewed by: Crystal P. recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2014 The condo and location were amazing. It was a little disappointing that there was no sleeper sofa and the Jacuzzi didn't work but we made due. A special thanks to Charlie for helping us with our vehicle when he got off work. Defiantly worth the money and plan on going back. Although I am still waiting on the owner to email me back.
Great condo to stay in if you are staying on Tybee Island
A guest from Wetumpka, Alabama recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in April, 2014 Condo was very nice and close to everything we wanted to do. This was our second time staying at Beach House and will stay again in the future.
Carl R. from Oscilla, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 1 days in July, 2013 The stay at Tybee was nice!! We loved the location and the pool / restaurant combo was perfect! Thank goodness for plenty of parking for us and our guests. The amount was pricey considering we only stayed one night. Most of the staff was friendly and very helpful...we emailed about the condo and got a quick, informative response. We are looking forward to another opportunity to visit next summer!
George R. from Lawrenceburg, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in June, 2013 We had read poor reviews about this unit after we booked it. We were braced with our own supplies and ready to make do. Good location with good access to beach, plus a nice pool area and restaurant. For a $2300 condo for five nights I was surprised a broken lamp which gave the only light to the living area wasn't replaced before we arrived or during our stay. We also had to replace some light bulbs which had burned out. They provided new bulbs. The least liked moment came after we first arrived and did a quick check of the space, we reported the lamp and an ornamental bird were broken to the desk clerk. Her response was, "The cleaning crew didn't mention it." and a look that suggested to us that perhaps she thought we had broken these items within the first ten minutes of our stay. Neither item was repaired, replaced or removed. Both having sharp edges that could injure if handled. Most of the staff was very friendly, including other desk clerks. An earlier review we had read said that when asked about repairs the rental agent stated that was the condo owners reponsabilty. Well clients don't rent from the owner, but from the agent who accepted this property for rent. Perhaps the agency should remove the property from listing or reduce the price until owner brings it up to snuff.I would recommend Beachside in general, but not unit 424.
A guest from Gilbert, IA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 This was our fourth stay at Beachside Colony. In the past we have had almost no complaints about the condos. The location and view can't be beat! That said, this year's condo was not in the best shape, or terribly clean. I know if we had complained the staff would have been more than happy to remedy this, and things just weren't bad enough for us to worry about it.
Judy K. from Athens, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 We have stayed at the Beach House since it's conception onece or twice a year, bringing friends with us or just the two of us. Have always loved being there and had no problems. This time there were a list of 12 things that were wrong with the apartment, too long to list here. I did leave the list with management. What maintenance could, they fixed efficiently. Our main problem was with the Internet cable connection wiring which was behind the TV and would not reach any table. I had brought a 9 foot Ethernet cable with me which we were able to string across to the coffee table from the TV. But this was a constant hazard as we kept tripping over it to get to the balcony. In every other apartment we have stayed in the cable was behind the couch and it only had to have the longer Ethernet cable to get it over to the table. In 424 we also needed a 20 foot TV cable which we would have also tripped over. This was the most inconvenient and annoying part of our stay. So the Beach House,we wholeheartedly recommend, just not 424.
Reviewed by: A guest does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in September, 2012 I cleaned the mold out of the jet tub only to find that the jets were inoperable. The clerk was not responsive when I described the problem. And the sand fleas on the beach ruined even walks.
