Reviewed by: Diane M. does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2016 My experience wasn't the best because there was a sewer issue that made the main house stinky when windows were closed. Luckily we were only there to sleep. We liked everything but the smell and bedroom windows that were sheer so the room was bright as soon as the sun rose. We had a young couple in the bunkhouse and they loved it there. They used the nice hot tub and wished for some citronella candles outside. Good location. Nice people. Bad smell.
Cozy Farm Cottage in idyllic setting with great view of mountains
Sarah D. from Little Rock, AR recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in August, 2015 Stressful business took me to Kalispell and this was the perfect place to come "home" to every evening. The cottage is inviting because of its charm and careful attention to detail. The bunk house is a perfect place to watch the night sky as you slip into sleep. Because the property is not far from Big Fork a delightful night at the Crown Guitar Festival was possible. Hops and Cafe 406 in Kalispell offered fine dinners. Marie and Scott were gracious hosts. I loved taking advantage of the hot tub to relax and unwind under Montana's sky.

Patrick W. from Portland, Oregon recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2015 We loved our stay at The Farm Cottage! It was private, cozy and rich with great views. It only took us 30 minutes get to Glacier National Park and when we returned in the evening, we could relax in the yard with a glass of wine and a game of horseshoes. Our day ended with a great sunset and a soak in the jacuzzi. Scott was a perfect host and played us some great tunes on his radio station . We took away great memories and hope we'll get back this way soon.
Carole V. from Ellicott City, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2015 We loved the farm cottage and bunk house. The view was spectacular. We can't wait to go back.

Bryan M. from Houston, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2015 We stayed at the Farm Cottage -- 2 of us -- for a week. It served as a quiet place for relaxation, and a home-base for our daily hiking expeditions in Glacier. We found our stay to be very pleasantly restful. The cottage was nicely appointed and the grounds beautifully landscaped. We highly recommend this rental.
A guest from Coventry, RI recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2014 We were extremely comfortable at the Farm Cottage.Very relaxing..made it difficult to get going each day. It was so nice to be able to go back to the cottage after a long day at Glacier National, spending a day on Flathead Lake, shopping, so much to do. No worries as to having to change to go some where to eat etc. We have loads of pictures just of the changing scenery from the backyard. Truly an amazing place to stay. We have only wonderful memories...Thank you!
A guest from Tea, SD recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2014 This was the perfect location for our week vacation. The location was easy to access, and it made the commute to other areas easy and hassle free. The pictures don't do the cottage justice. It is exactly what it is advertised as. It was cozy, quaint, clean, and absolutely comfortable. It provided us the serenity and relaxation we were looking for. The mountain views were breathtaking with sunsets and sunrises, and we were able to truly appreciate God's beautiful creations all around us. We highly recommend this cottage, and we are certain that we will be back!
Absolutely wonderful, better than I ever imagined!!

A guest from Orange, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2014 We were very happy with the Farm Cottage. it is all and better than the pictures. The attention to every detail to accommodate the guests comfort has been well thought out. the kitchen was so comfortable and had all the tool needed to prepare any type of food. The beds and the linens were coordinated and beautiful. We loved the location. You are just a few miles out of the main town - maybe 3-4, but, what is nice, is you are out of the "city" and in the country. 'we enjoyed staying on a real "farm". The family warmth from the owners that live in the main house exudes throughout the property - so you feel very welcome. You wont be disappointed - unless you like the modern, high star types of hotels - this is in every way high star...but a cozy cottage!
A guest from Franklin, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2014 We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Farm Cottage. It was in a great location...30 min from glacier national park. We spent most of our time in the park but enjoyed coming "home" to relax and sit in the hot tub. 10 minutes from restaurants and grocery etc. When we arrived, the owner brought over some freshly cut flowers and huckleberry jelly (which we are now "hooked on").
Rickie M. from Spring, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in July, 2014 This little vacation cottage is absolutely beautiful, and the location is perfect for privacy without compromising the location to all the amazing activities the Flathead Valley has to offer. The amenities and decor are so well done, I could make this cozy cottage my permanent home and not want for a single thing. During my stay my friend that lives local came by, and she liked it so much she is considering renting it for a week next summer just for some peace and quiet! And the views...majestic. This is a "don't ever want to leave" romantic place to have an amazing vacation.
Chris K. from Dripping Springs, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2014 The farm cottage provided a nice homebase for exploring Glacier National Park. The hot tub, fire pit, and horseshoes provided relaxing evenings for the family. The farm cottage got quite warm in the afternoon/evenings, despite the portable AC unit. However, since we are from Texas, it really didn't bother us too much. We just went outside and enjoyed the view!
A guest from Midlothian, VA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2014 Owners were personable and decorated the home beautifully. Flowerssurrounded it and in all window boxes. Basic home items left for us to use. Kitchen wad great. Loved the hot train under the stars.
Glory M. from Columbia, MO recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in May, 2014 Our stay at the farm cottage was absolutely fabulous. We were visiting from missouri for our honeymoon and it was everything we hoped it would be. It was so clean and cozy and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The bedding was very comfortable and clean. The view in the backyard of the mountains was phenomenal. We also really appreciated the local coffee and jelly provided to give us a feel for the area. Thank you so much for making everything so welcoming!
A guest from Calgary, Alberta recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2013 This was our 2nd time back to the Farm Cottage! Loved every minute there. Clean, professional, quite, secinic, a great time.
A guest from Framingham, MS recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in September, 2013 This is a nice little house, very clean and well kept. The kitchen area was clean and well equipped. The location of the was great, espcially for getting to Glacier National Park. (And it is just one mile down from "Woody's", a local landmark.) The side-road that the house is on is near a busy road, but this was no problem at all; there was no bothersome noise. The view from the backyard is great. The "basement" bedroom and bathroom are nice, bright, dry -- the window wells have nice stonework and plants on the outside, so it is really attractive. I would stay here again.
Rhonda and Robert F. from Tukwila, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in August, 2013 A very nice place to stay and would stay again. Beats any Hotel chain, peaceful, Quiet, Clean and would recommend to anyone, The owners are very nice and friendly
Lorna M. from Calgary, AB recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 The cottage is clean, cute, well stocked with necessities and the view is awesome. It is close proximity to Kalispell and Glacier Park. We really enjoyed out stay and will be back someday.
Coryne M. from Calgary, AB recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 The farm cottage is just like the pictures posted on MBVR. We loved the cottage and the little extras that were waiting for us upon arrival. The views were beautiful, peaceful and full of lovely flowers. We would love to go back again. The cottage was central to almost everything. Approx. 20 - 30 min drive to get anywhere which was great. The only minor things that I would complain about was that the water had quite the smell and there were a lot of dead flies in the cottage upon arrival. Like I said nothing major. The owners who live on the property own some roosters which we got to hear later in the morning. We loved it! It threw us off the first time but it wasn't annoying or anything. I would recommend this farm cottage to family's and couples. It was a great retreat and if you're looking to relax this would be the place to do so!!!
Trisha S. from Sandy, UT recommends this property. Stayed for 8 days in July, 2013 The Farmhouse Cabin was just as described: small in square footage, but large in relaxation and amenities. The management company was very accommodating. The owner lives next door, and was delightful. I would stay here again.
Malcolm C. from Surprise, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in June, 2013 We came with the intention of kicking back and absorbing the ambience of Montana, and we did it in spades! To be able to sit out under the trees and just read while taking in the mountain views was all we asked for.
