Not So Good Summer Vacation on the Coast Jeri L. from Raceland, LA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2012 I rented a condo towards the back of the property which was recommended by the rental company because it was closest to the large pool and playground because I have four children. I arrived on Friday and the pool was closed. I called management and was told it would be open the next morning. I saw a security personnel on Saturday and asked about the pool and was told it would be open Sunday but we could use the smaller pool at the front of the property. I hauled my things and my four children there only to find that it was so crowded that there was not a place to sit or put our things down and it was like this all day long. It was not until Sunday afternoon that the pool was free for us to use. We checked out on Monday and the pool was still not open. There were ants in the living room and one of the bedrooms of the condo. The iron didn't work and one of the toilets was not flushing properly. Overall it was not the best experience I have had on a vacation. |
