Enjoy the spectacular view from the deck as you grill your dinner on the BBQ and watch the boats drift past.
If you can tear yourself away, you'll find that the cottage is ideally situated as a base for exploring the area. The community of Hubbards is only a few minutes away with a grocery store, bank, cafes, antique shops, lobster suppers and, on Saturdays, a vibrant Farmers Market.
To the east is the village of Chester and the historic towns of Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. To the west is the capital city of Halifax as well as the iconic village of Peggys Cove.
Not to mention the beaches. There are a 1/2 dozen white-sand beaches within a 15 minute drive. The nearest is just a short stroll down the road.

The cottage is located on the popular Aspotogan Peninsula - a favorite spot for cyclists, kayakers, hikers, birders, swimmers and anyone else who enjoys the rugged coastline, wharves and vistas that this area has to offer.
