Welcome to Captain Wallace House! This century+ home has been lovingly restored with beautiful hardwood floors, ceiling beams, a beach-stone fireplace, deck and modern appliances. Its five bedrooms make it the ideal retreat for large families or smaller families travelling together.
Situated on the shore of the pristine St. Margarets Bay, the views are absolutely stunning. Grill your dinner on the deck as you watch the sail boats drift by. Or, on rainy days, use the large stove in the fully-equipped kitchen.
The open-concept living/dining/kitchen area features large windows overlooking the water as well as a comfy bar area. You'll find two bedrooms on the lower floor - one with a working fireplace and soaker tub: two bedrooms on the main floor and a cozy 5th bedroom tucked into the attic. Altogether there are 3 queen beds, 1 king and a twin.

The property is ideally situated for touring the area. Its just 10 minutes from the community of Hubbards where you'll find cafes, a bank, grocery store, antique shop, lobster suppers and, on Saturdays, a vibrant Farmers Market.
You'll be less than an hours drive from the capital city of Halifax to the east and the historic towns of Mahone Bay and Lunenburg to the west.
And there are a 1/2 dozen beaches within a 20 minute drive - one of them just a 5 minute stroll down the road.

Captain Wallace House is located on the popular Aspotogan Peninsula - a favorite spot for cyclists, kayakers, hikers, birders, swimmers and others who enjoy the rugged coastline, wharves and vistas that this area has to offer.
