Casa Del Bosque (House of the Forest) is situated in Guanacaste’s premier environmental community, Tierra Pacifica.

It is located within walking distance of Playa Junquillal and is near the end of a paved road providing quick access to Santa Cruz or the international airport in Liberia.

The home sits on an oversized lot surrounded by green areas. Trails from two corners of the property will lead you to the beach access or to the extensive club house which has cascading pools, a modern fitness facility, tennis court and hot tub. Morning Yoga and Zumba are offered twice a week in the club yoga room. Mile of trails will thrill even the most avid hiker. There is a beach nearby for every occasion. Playa Junquillal, a blue flag beach, is a few minutes away and is one of the longest volcanic sand beaches in Costa Rica. The large cooks’ kitchen has custom teak cabinets complimented by Italian granite counter tops, an island, 2 sinks, and stainless steel appliances and is the hub of the home. The main terrace, dining room, and screened living room radiate out from the kitchen. Upstairs is the owner’s suite with a bedroom(a/c), screened yoga room, full bath, and the “get away” room, a smaller room with a day bed and flat screen TV(a/c) for a cool afternoon movie.

The guest suite is off the main 30 foot terrace and includes a/c, teak bed, and luxury bathroom.

All beds and mattresses are of the highest quality providing the best possible sleep after your day in paradise. An ample laundry room with washer and dryer and ½ bath is just inside from the outdoor shower and gardens.
The home was designed to integrate with the outside environment and the natural surroundings. Windows and doors were designed to capture sight lines and cross breezes. Consequently the home remains cool and comfortable throughout the year.

A short walk from the home you can be at the Tierra Pacifica commercial center where you will find a grocery store, Amigo’s restaurant, a doctor, and the local veterinary clinic.
