Catch your breath and relax in this private cottage in the dunes. Second Wind has 1.5 bathrooms and sleeps 8 with 1 queen bedroom, a bunk room with 2 bunkbeds, and a third bedroom with a Full.

This property is located outside of Beachwalk, steps from one of Lake Michigan?s best beaches, Sheridan Beach. You will start by entering into "Second Wind's" Great room, with cathedral ceiling, an HDTV, DVD player, and cozy fireplace for the cold season. From the Great room you can open the doors to the large sun-drenched deck great for outdoor dining or just to sit and soak up those rays. This home sleeps 8 with 1 Queen, 1 Full, and 2 Bunks. Extra sleeping can be accommodated on the sleeper sofa if needed. "Second Wind" is located next to "Breaking Away" and can be combined together for accommodating larger groups. Please remember that because this property is located off site, Beachwalk amenities are not included. No pets! No Smoking!

Where should I start? The place smelled bad when we walked in. That should have made us turn around and run. We spent more money to avoid staying in a place like this. Door knobs fell off in our hands. Doors wouldn't unlock. Windows didn't open. Rotten and filthy doors and windows. Can't see the lake. I specifically asked if you could. Lake is a far walk over a big hill. Air conditioner in back bedroom sounds like a freight train (couldn't open the windows). Deck boards are coming up (my grandson hurt his foot). Property is totally overgrown. It looks abandoned. Please don't stay here. I only stopped because I am limited on words. This place is falling apart. Literally. This place should cost 1/3 the price.

This is a lovely house with a perfect location to the beach. The general condition of the house was good, but the screens for the outside doors would come off fairly easily (though just as easily put back) and three of the doornobs came off at one point in time with little force (again easy to put back on). Nothing that would deter me from coming back as the place was nice and cozy. It just could have those elements fixed for it to be absolutely perfect!
