Many hiking trails start right at the door. Only a short walk leads to the Riessersee lake, which offers inviting possibilities for bathing in summer and ice hockey in winter. The city center with various shops and restaurants is some 10 minutes away.
Skiing Garmisch is a perfect place for skiing in Winter with access to many different ski areas to chose from.
