Nice and comfortable for a family Reviewed by: A guest recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012 A nice place for our family. The property is on a busy corner which wasn't an issue in the winter but might be in summer when there is more traffic and one wants to be out in the patio area. The home inside is quiet, clean and comfortable. The perfect walking distance from beach and town so you aren't inundated with tourists. Beware, the renter must request a deposit refund. |

San Carlos & 13th A guest from Carmel, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 38 days in October, 2012 We rented this property for 5 weeks late last year (2012). The house was comfortably furnished and provided all the amenities needed and was reasonably clean. The beach, shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance. We had 2 complaints with the property. One was the location - it is on the "truck route", which means the traffic noise from trucks and buses starts early in the morning and continues late into the evening. The second complaint involves the property management company. When we first looked at the property, prior to renting, we advised the property manager that there was a bedroom window wide open without a crank handle. They said they would take care of it immediately. When we moved in 2 to 3 weeks later, the window was still wide open. Again, we advised them. We pushed the window closed and there it remained throughout our stay without a crank handle and unable to open. The property management company promptly refunded most of our deposit monies, but have so far not refunded the remaining amount, which they acknowledge is owed to us, in spite of our repeated requests that they do so. |
