The historic gold rush town of Murphys is known world wide for it's up and coming wineries (with 20 + tasting rooms in the immediate area), award winning restaurants, boutique style shopping and numerous outdoor activities and adventures for any outdoor enthusiast. Gold panning, horseback riding, grape stomping are just a few of the fun things you can do on your next visit to Angels Creek Cottage.
You can even bring your dog along! (for a small additional fee.)
This home is also just minutes from world renowned Big Big Trees State of some of the largest and most beautiful Redwood and Sequoia Trees, numerous hiking trails, high Sierra Lakes and don't forget the summer concert series provided by Ironstone Vineyards with the biggest names in music in attendance! The only safety improvement would be to remove or move back the sign post and large sign from the front, because it blocks the drivers view when pulling a car out of the driveway. Very dangerous. |

Vintage look outside with 2 awesome decks, but 70's decor inside Cindy B. from Concord, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 We really enjoyed the location and quiet of Angels Creek Cottage and the 2 decks with a great view, but the 70's updated interior was very disappointing to us. The living space being upstairs was cozy, but it felt a little closed in with the 70's panelling. Although all of the amenities were there the applicances were dated and there wasn't a microwave upstairs. The second bedroom was upstairs also and your guests would have to go down the steep stairs to the other bathroom on the first floor. The house does have an odd lay out.The bed was very comfortable and nicely done with a down comfortable and pillows. Also we liked the antique dressing table and antique light fixtures in the bedroom. The first floor had the microwave, but the fridge was rusty inside and not usable. Also, when you walked in from the entrance the first floor smelled like a basement. There were just the two of us, so we didn't need the down stairs living, but we wouldn't want to use that area, other than the bath room, if we had more in our party. |

Stayed for 4 days in March, 2013 We have stayed in Murphys in the past and find ourselves drawn back to it time and again. Now we will find that pull even stronger as we have found Angel's Creek Cottage. The property is darling. Beautiful planters of flowers greeted us outside in front and on the back porch and deck. Inside the cottage was immaculately clean. The linens were positively lovely to look at and even nicer to climb between. No detail was overlooked to include a sweet Easter basket of local candies for my son. |

Great Cottage...Great Location A guest from Los Gatos, recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2013 A bit of a funky layout, but that didn't bother us at all. Very comfortable and great decks looking out to the creek. Amazing location being right there in downtown and walk to everything. |
