On the other side of the street you will see the edge of the Tiergarten, Berlin's large central park, offering you many small and wide paths to lead you gently to numerous targets in the city centre (e.g.: Kurfürstendamm and Tauentzienstraße) or to pleasant spots (lakes, beer-gardens etc.) in the middle of the park.

Stations for both U- and S-Bahn are just 5-10 minutes’walk away (the nearest S-Bahn stations are Bellevue and Tiergarten; nearest U-Bahn station is Hansaplatz) with direct connections to both the eastern and western central areas. The main railway station and the western city centre are just one stop away by S- or U-Bahn and the eastern central area is also quick to reach (Friedrichstraße, Hackescher Markt and Alexanderplatz stations are 2, 3 and 4 stops away respectively).
