The path to the vacation home on Zilleweg 4 itself is an experience, as it crosses a wooden bridge the likes of which have become rare. The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, surrounded by canals and greenery. Its interior offers a spacious living/dining room with completely equipped open kitchen. In it, you’ll find stove, fridge, oven, coffee maker, and all the pots, pans, and tableware required.
The house Zilleweg 2 offers a particular characteristic which used to be common in the Papenburg houses of the upper class, but has become very rare: right across from the open fireplace, there are two Butzen, sleeping areas which can be folded open, are entered from the front and offer a cozy sleeping spot behind a lockable wooden wall. The additional bedrooms are on the other side. One of them has a double bed, the other two single beds. Bed linens are provided.
The living room consists of a comfortable dining corner and a TV corner with satellite reception. This gute Stube has enough space to let all sit together for breakfast or other meals, or to plan the next day’s excursions.
The bathroom has a spacious shower, toilet and washing machine. It was renovated in 2004 and newly tiled in light colors.
The houses ceilings were also renovated in 2004 and done in light colored-woods, accentuating the old, dark wooden beams.
