Amazing! A guest from White City, Saskatchewan recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in February, 2013 We visited Kauai for the first time in February, 2013 and had a wonderful holiday. Poipu Kapili is so beautiful, we highly recommend it! The resort is more beautiful than the photos show and the staff are very friendly. We used the pool, had it to myself a few times. We used the coin operated laundry facilities, the gas BBQs and picked herbs from the garden. Condo 42 has a great ocean view, we ate breakfast and dinner on the lanai every day. Condo is very large, kitchen is well stocked, a very comfortable condo. PK is close to restuarants and its location makes touring the island very easy. I did a lot of research prior to choosing PK, it was perfect for us. We are hoping to visit Kauai and PK many more times. |

The only problem was out of their control: a constant whining noise from the Sheraton that made us close the east-facing bedroom window at night and forgo the breeze. Unprompted, the manager gave us a discounted rate and refunded part of our fee because of this, and since we were not home during the day we were not impacted by any noise. We were fortunate enough to get a second floor condo which provided an amazing view of the ocean from our balcony, and the cross breeze was amazing once windows at both ends were opened up. The condo was fully stocked with all the essentials, and the staff was kind and helpful. The preponderance of rooster art and sculptures was a bit overwhelming, but it certainly was an accurate reflection of the Kauai wildlife. Oh, and a big plus was the amazing water pressure. Overall, a wonderful experience! |
