Stayed for 11 days in March, 2013 It was the way a condo rental is supposed to be.One of the umbrellas should be replaced as the support wires were broken. But the the other one was fine so no problem. Hope to go back. Staff was exceptional. One had to come and open the door for us because we had left the key inside. They came at 10pm with a smile and would not take $20 that was put in their hand. It came right back. |

Highly Recommend Poipu Kapili #10! A guest from Crystal Lake, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in August, 2012 Unit #10 is a Perfect 10! Great experience for our family of five. Kids loved that they could stay in same bedroom (two queens in second bedroom) versus a fifth guest staying on pull out couch like many rentals we looked at. Unit was very spacious and very well equipped. Everything was in working order and very clean. Management was extremely friendly and helpful. Office had a small children's library and movie rentals as well as wealth of local information on area activities. Spent each morning and each evening listening/watching the ocean waves. Landscaping of property was beautiful and pool was well used by our family! Only downside, wish there was more of a cross breeze on first floor...tended to get kind of warm/stuffy. Floor fan was provided and did provide needed air circulation. Would definitely return to this property and request this unit. Mahalo! |

My husband has stayed here several times and has never had a complaint. Not only is the place beautiful and perfectly kept, but everyone that works there is exceptional. They make you feel like they know you and are so personal. From giving you suggestions on places to eat or shop to helping you with an emergency. My daughter had fallen and hit her head and I wanted her seen by a doctor. Not only did they make calls to local doctors for me, they also called a taxi for me and later checked in with me to see how she was. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when visiting the island of Kauai. |

Stayed for 16 days in February, 2012 Poipu Kapili is an awesome place to stay - we had an ocean front condo and the view of the ocean and whales, etc was incredible - so nice to wake up to each morning. The staff was most accommodating and friendly. the condo itself could use some updating and the kitchen could be better equipped - there was not even a vegetable peeler - and it could use a few more bowls (ie for fruit, etc) but overall we loved our stay there and will certainly go again. We have been going to Kauai for over 20 years andI think this is ourfavorite place to stay without children. |
