This awesome property, which is a gated, houses three other apartments, with a beautiful shared pool, gardens, palapa (or thatched-roof hut in English), hammocks, bathroom with shower, outdoor seating, scuba rinse tank, and laundry line.  There is even a banana tree ripe with bananas to enjoy!  For security, there's a live-in 24/7 caretaker, Don Luis, who has a small apartment on the property. Don Luis will be the one who will greet you upon arrival. He can also handle any maintenance-related tasks and will be there to tidy up the apartment twice per week, or upon request, at no extra charge.The apartment itself is located on the ground floor, set apart in its own private corner away from the other three apartments on the grounds.  It has a stand-alone bedroom with a king-size bed and full bathroom with a shower, and a loft-like living room/dining room area. This area has two couches and a large granite breakfast bar/dining room table. The kitchen is fully equipped. It includes utensils, dishes, pots and pans, a blender, a coffee maker, a microwave, a toaster, a stove - all the items you might need cook a nice quiet meal at home.  Also included are powerful air conditioning units, ceiling fans, towels and linens, free WiFi Internet, an in-room safe, purified water, and cable TV with English-channel programming.The location of Apartment Canela is ideal, just far away from the bustle of downtown San Miguel to enjoy quiet nights, but close enough to walk a few short blocks to the ocean, movie theater, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, local stores, and large supermarkets.  Located in Corpus Christi neighborhood of San Miguel offers a convenient stop for many taxis and is ideal for walking, biking, or taking a drive to see where local Cozumeleños live and work.  Churches, public parks, and Cozumel’s main square, or zocalo in Spanish, are also in close proximity.
