Perfect for what we needed!
A guest from Pacific Grove, California recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2016 We stayed here for Wanderlust and it was perfect. It was nice biking to the festival from here. There were 6 of us and it never felt to crowded. Would definitely consider staying here again. Thanks!
Patty K. from San Francisco, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2016 The place was in a good location and accommodations were good. We were two families. One couple took the Master Bedroom and the other family took the two upstair rooms and shared bath. Place was fully equipped. The fireplace was great although there wasn't any kindling so we had to make some of our own.It rained while we were there and we had an issue with a leak from the light in the kitchen. I called the emergency number and then the number of the rental the next day. No one ever got back to me. Good think it wasn't a real emergency.
Reviewed by: Jessica K. recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2015 We very much enjoyed our stay at The Aspens at Squaw Valley. The unit was spacious and comfortable for our family of four adults and two young children. It was quiet and peaceful, set back from the road, but also very convenient to Squaw Village, and the road to Tahoe City. The unit was homey -- it felt loved, like somebody who isn't a renter really cares about it, and uses it. The only downsides were that the mattresses were extremely hard, no bed was larger than a full, and the heat was a little bit iffy in the living room. That last thing happened only at the very end of our stay, and I'm sure the management company, who was friendly, flexible and responsive, has taken steps to address it.
A guest from West Sacramento, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2015 The condo was great, however, there were just a couple disappointments...The "bbq" was a tiny webber that couldn't even fit a single tri tip on it. We ended up buying our own. And the beds were pretty firm and I guess that is preference but it was hard to get comfortable for most of us...the couch was awesome though. We tossed a coin for it each night lol
Francis G. from Los Altos, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 5 days in February, 2015 Our experience was pretty mixed. The condo was clearly pretty tired. The rag rugs should all be replaced...they are truly disgusting. Also, the beds and pillows are the least comfortable I have encountered...while I understand the owner is saving money, the beds in particular made the stay very uncomfortable. Everything in the kitchen was usable, but appeared to be the cheapest version of pots/pans/utensils available at a Kmart.I was not happy with the conflicting information and lack of service from the realtor. I received an attachment with instructions for picking up the key, which indicated there would be an envelope near the door of the realtor office if we arrived late (which we did). Upon arrival, there was a lock box. I was not aware that instructions for this had been sent over a month earlier, as a line in the same email which had the attachment, with different instructions. So, at 9 pm Wednesday night, we called your office several times, to no answer. We finally got the lock box combo by going to your website, calling directory assistance for each person on it, and eventually getting a hold of Craig. Amazingly, no one from your office EVER CALLED US BACK!I will also note that the book of information at the condo was anywhere from 3 to 7 years out of date, and also included conflicting information regarding internet access.Overall, a barely average stay...
Cooper C. from Kentfield, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2015 Plenty of room...potentially great setup for family with teenagers IF INTERNET AND TV WORKED! With NO internet or TV throughout vacation if you need to work or use TV instead of real conversation or games you're SOOL. We actually bonded so not so bad, but wired family's SHOULD NOT RENT THIS PLACE.
John R. from Ross, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2014 Property manager was great... but stuff like no wifi... tough to heat consistently in rooms and fire alarms not covered wires hanging out and constantly beeping... made you pause a little.
A guest from Glendora, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in July, 2014 Our experience was fabulous! The condo was beautiful inside, and was surrounded by trees outside. The location was amazing, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We would love to stay at the same condo again someday. The only confusion we had was with the linens...we didn't see all the towels until we were leaving because they were on the third level and we didn't use that level when we were there. There was only one set of white sheets, but they were in the closet up on a shelf in the corner. We were so worried about which towels to use & which ones not to use so that we wouldn't get charged extra fees...if that issue was more specific then that would be very helpful. One more small thing...the dishwasher was full of dishes when we got there, so we didn't use it. Otherwise, everything else was awesome!
Peter B. from San Francisco, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in February, 2014 The cabin was great. Key pickup/dropoff was easy and it's close to squaw. The hot tub was a little hard to find though.
Steve B. from Alamo, California recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in January, 2014 Very clean, great location. Couch is terrible though - really uncomfortable. There's room for a sectional and they really need to put something like that in. Also, the hot tub keys didn't unlock the cover lock, so no hot tub for us :(
Noelle A. from Blaine, MN recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in September, 2013 Renting through this company was extremely easy. The descriptions were accurate. The employees were very responsive to questions. The condo was quiet and very clean. The condo is located about 1 mile from the lifts/tram, shopping, and Ironman Lake Tahoe finish.
