Taari Beach Studio A guest from Cerritos, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 Great location. Great last minute price. No AC, but a fan provided midway through our stay. No hooks to hang clothes. No closet. One sink to share between bathroom and kitchenette. Could hear our upstair neighbors, but not bad. Walking distance to a long stretch of beach. Beautiful sunrises every morning. |

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! Scott T. from Coopersburg, PA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2013 Everything about this place was done as cheaply as possible, as if the property were being squeezed for every nickle possible. Several fixtures / outlets didn't work. No chairs inside. Amenities, such as they might otherwise have been called, were misrepresented and pathetic. Place was very small and dark. Outdoor photo is deceptive as to the "quality" of the unit.Mgt Co. responded promptly to repair kitchen lighting. Owner gratuitously called and accused us of only wanting to beat her down on the price when we complained, then would "compromise" by cancellation of remaining time when she knew that no other accommodation would likely be found. NO WAY IN THE WORLD FOR THIS UNIT! Expensive at half the price. |

Location, location, location! A guest from Ashland, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2013 This studio is located beautifully within a 3 minute walk to a gorgeous somewhat secluded beach and next to the Hanalei Colony Resort which has a really good restaurant and coffee shop. Our only dissapointment was the qaulity of furnishings.... very garage sale feeling. The house above the studio is beautiful, but this is a very affordable way to stay on the North Shore. They just need to invest a little in the ambience of this studio. I would go back. |

Stayed for 4 days in January, 2013 The place was well kept, well equipped (minus an extension cord for appliances) and very quiet at night. A very short walk to the beach was beautiful and tunnels beach just a bit further. Loved it's location to a coffee shop and restaurant a short walk and a short drive to a general store, but a 15 drive to Hanalei. Had no guests upstairs, except for one night so no noise we can report being a basement studio. Perfect for a couple wanting a close beach walk! |

Some good, some bad... Alan M. from Chicago, IL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2013 Well,We knew the place would be small. North Shore. Relatively inexpensive. The place was clean. That was good. Here are some of areas that, well, need improvement:1. I asked if the unit had washer/dryer facilities. I was told yes. Our spot did not. However, the larger unit upstairs did. Thus, I was given incorrect information.2. I have never been in a place that had a kitchen/kitchenette and not even salt or sugar. 3. The ceiling is very thin. Now, I understand that it is not unlikely to have a 2.5 year old upstairs who runs around early (and we did have that), but everything was audible. I could head the fork hit the plates upstairs. |
