Loved the cabin, not so much the outside parking area, too small to get around, glad we only had 1 car, and couldn't get to lake, too steep a hill to climb,but overall a nice place to stay...

We absolutely loved "Somewhere" and would stay again. It was so beautiful and peaceful and didn't want to leave. The cabin was nicely decorated and charming. It was the perfect place to spend our 10 year anniversary. We definitely recommend this cabin.

We were under the impression that the pond was right out back, you had to drive to get to it and it wasn't very quiet and private. The sheets on our bed were dirty, we actually slept on top of the covers. There were hairs in our bed, not just one or two but quite a few where people had actually slept there and no one changed the sheets. That was very disgusting but we didn't notice it until later that night when it was too late to call anyone. We enjoyed it other than that, very easy to find, management office was very nice but I would not recommend it due to the cleanliness.

'Somewhere' to spend some away time

My three teenagers and I spent 5 incredibly stress free and relaxing days in 'Somewhere'. It was homey, cozy, and you couldn't help but relax when you walked in. The staff with AMR were INCREDIBLY polite, helpful, and cheerful! We were already planning our next visit on the trip home.

Overall, my family was very happy with our stay. We didn't realize that the house was up some pretty steep hills though. One night after coming back from dinner, us and another car were trying to get up the same steep hill, so we had to pull a little off the road to accommodate. Well our tires skidded quite a bit when we tried to start moving again. It wasn't that bad, but people should know about the location, especially being that it was a little icy. Also, just let me say BUBBLES!!!! The jacuzzi bubbles were out of control! The covered parking is right under the jacuzzi area, so my husband had to move the car for fear of damage. The next morning there were massive icicles hanging down from the wood:). Also there is a PS3 there, but the cables to connect the controllers were missing. We called AMR and Jeff went to Walmart and bought what we needed and it was ready and waiting when we got back from dinner. That was very nice. I would stay at Somewhere again. It was very cozy and comfortable. Our experience was very memorable and "somewhere" we won't forget.

Our stay was not bad, however the cabin photos on the website are different than what we saw when we arrived. There was barely any room to turn our vehicle around. Inside the sheets on the bed upstairs did not fit, the hot tub was not "hot" and when we turned on the jets & bubbles it was very rough and you could not relax because the water was running out of the tub and splashing in your face. The dvd player in the upstairs bedroom did not work, the television upstairs only had 3 or 4 channels. For what I paid, I was not impressed with this cabin and will not stay there again.

We had a great time staying at "Somewhere" cabin. It was spotless, well appointed, and quiet. We fished, played games and relaxed. We loved it, and I am a very picky traveler!!!

Cabin was very nice. I have stayed at other cabins many times and they seem to have a few more household items like sugar. You have to buy every household item here. I hate the lady at the rental office recommend Kroger and did not tell us about Food City. Kroger is way over priced. The area is not family friendly. The attractions are way over priced for what you see. Come on two adults and two very samll children for the aquarium came to little over 80 just to get in. Cabin was too high up the Mountain. There is no pond in walking distance! I had neighbors and I told the lady of the phone I hate neighbors. I am not at home I am on vacation! I will not be going back!

Overall cabin was really nice location was ok just some of the roads were very small and challenging to navigate with oncoming traffic especially the UPS truck (LOL). Overall it was clean with the exception of the laundry room and under the couch and some food that had apparently spilled out of trash can from previous stay that had fallen between the fridge and the trash can. Didn't use hot tub as there appeared to be rust in it. Would still recommend as it was nice and peaceful! Thanks

My wife, daughter, parents, and I had a great spring vacation in part due to the wonderful experience of staying in the cabin. It was close enough to the action in Pigeon Forge that we could be there in about 10 minutes but seemed like a world away in the peaceful relaxing environment of the mountains. The cabin was roomy enough to easily accomodate the 5 of us and was lovely inside. While I have stayed at other cabins through American Mountain Rentals that may have had a better view than the most recent one, the cabins are consistenly clean, well maintained, and a great value.
