Some maintenance issues (carpet strip by dining room table off kitchen is a severe trip hazard. The laminate by stove counter is coming loose, blinds in downstairs (vertical blinds) bedroom, living and dining areas need replacing, upstairs toilet flush arm inside tank needs to be fixed, outside grounds maintances (i.e., trash, etc) Was really neat to have two black bears going through empty garbage cans the first night we were there. Wonderful cabin to relax in for our 5 day stay. Sunset on our last evening was amazing. |

It was our first time to rent a cabin but it won't be our last ! We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The cabin was spotless when we arrived and the view was better than the advertising pictures. The AMR personnel were very polite and helpful from the moment I called to inquire about reservations through the check in process. We will definitely recommend them. We loved sitting in the hot tub every evening after a fun day out sight seeing and going to Dollywood. One of our best trips ever and the cabin was so much nicer than staying in a motel. |

The staff at American Mountain Rentals were very nice and helpful. We arrived at our cabin and it was spotless. The pictures doesn't do it justice. It was a perfect layout for the 4 of us. Not too cramped, just perfect. I would recommend renting from American Mountain Rentals and if you like heights, I would recommend the cabin Clearview. It was easy to get to if you like driving up winding, steep mountain roads. Just a perfect mountain experience. I can't say enough about it. We rang in the New Year great! Hopefully 2013 will be wonderful!!!!! |

They are friendly and do a great job! I needed help with the hot tub and they had someone there within an hour to take care of it. The only negative thing was dust bunnies in the windows and on the silk plants. But dont sweat the small stuff!- and compared to the beautiful cabins and amazing views- dust bunnies are really small stuff!! Flat-landers beware... to get the spectacular views you're going to have to drive up some steep hills!! Be brave - it's SO worth it!! It actually becomes fun after a couple times:) |

The cabin was amazing - loads of light and very airy, even though it was not a big house. The views of the mountains, valley and setting sun were amazing from the cabin. The road leading up to the cabin is windy and narrow, which might be a challenge to navigate in winter. The only problems were the low force showers and uncomfortable pillows, but that would not stop us from coming back here. We were so sad to leave. |

Since my husband wasn't able to join us for the trip, I liked that the cabin was in the mountains/woods, but not isolated. There were 10 cabins on our street. The views were beautiful. It was about a 10 minute ride from town. The wi-fi worked perfectly, and the TV reception was great. The water pressure was a little low, but manageable. We would definitely stay at this cabin again. |

Very Poor Water Pressure A guest from Lexington, KY does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in March, 2012 The water pressure in the cabin was almost non existent. This made the jacuzzi tub useless and made it very difficult to shower each day. I dont know if the problem is directly related to the location of the cabin being way up the mountain, but in the future I will make sure that any chalet I stay in is closer to the main road. |
