We visited in 2012 as well. Repairs have not been done. Door to the first bedroom does not close. Many blinds do not work. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Disappointed with service provided on leaky roof and bugs.

When we arrived on Sunday, it was raining. We noticed water leaking from the roof of one of the bedrooms, and the bathroom. We called the appropriate personnel listed on the arrival information and were told they would take care of it. We also reported wasps and lady bugs throughout the rental. A person from Orkin arrived and told us there was nothing they could do about the bugs. No one came to inspect the roof on Sunday,it was raining. On Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday it did not rain, but still no one came to inspect the roof. On Thursday, it rained again and we reported the leaking again, both a phone call and a personal visit to the office at Brothers Cove. We were told they couldn't inspect because it was raining. Why couldn't someone have come to look at the roof on the three days it did not rain? We were disappointed with the effort of American Mountain Rentals. The persons in the leaky bedroom were badly inconvenienced because of wet blankets and wet floors in their area. When we departed, we stopped at the office on Hillis to mention the problems and were told there was very little they could do, it was "an act of God", very disappointing response.

B's Refuge Cabin was beautiful with a great view - furnished very well - enjoyed having 4 bedrooms with private baths - this was our second visit - hope to return

The house was wonderful except a lot of lady bugs and dead wasp we had. The house was a perfect fit for 7 of us and we could all hang out together in the huge family room upstairs.

We loved our cabin and had a great time! The cabin was everything they showed in the pictures! A great getaway, with family or friends. Our kids wanted to stay in and play pool,and hang out. Beautiful view, so much to do in area or relaxing getaway. Love it and we will be back!

Loved our stay here at B's Refuge. Perfect for a 4 couple get away as each bedroom has its own bathroom. 1st floor sitting room is a bit small, but the upstairs family room is huge. We chose this property because it is not as high up as other's in this resort, so while the view may not be as dramatic, neither is the drive getting there. Some of these roads can be very steep and trecherous, esp. in winter conditions. Kitchen is fully stocked. No worries about noisy neighbors as this home is the last one on the street. Love the hot tub on the walkout deck. A few minor quibbles (dishwasher is practically falling out of the cabinet, but I'm sure that has been repaired), but overall a delightful stay.

The cabin was perfect, perfect, perfect. Easily accessilbe (no harrowing mountain climbs), clean, and decorated with relaxation in mind. I especially want to thank the staff at American Mountain Rentals who helped me make my daugher's 8th birthday a festive event. The balloons they had delivered to the cabin really made it feel like a birthday celebration and my daughter was beyond happy. Thanks for everything.

There were 4 couples who enjoyed their stay. The cabin has great amenities that makes it a fun place. The only problem was the ladybugs that you had to eat and sleep with. I called the office and they said that there is nothing they can do, or would do, about the problem. So if you want a cabin with a great view, lots of fun amenities, and thousands of pesky ladybugs, this is the place.

It was a couple retreat and it was wonderful. Everything was top of the line from the silverware to the flat screen tv's in all the rooms. If you want to have a great vacation with the whole family this is the place to stay it has so much space in it. Everything was so beautiful decorated and it was so clean. The sheets on the bed was nice clean and fresh. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. We plan to have a Family Christmas at this very cabin. Thanks for making our vacation a MOUNTAIN LOVE VACATION.

Mountaintop Reunion

We have a reunion every couple years and this was the most perfect place. At the bottom of the mountain there is a gas and convenience store, plus across the street there is a grocery and deli called Waverly's. We bought the most delicious angus burgers there for a cookout. Give the cabins and area a "go." You will not be disappointed. Thanks to all at Brother's Cove.

this cabin was one of the most beautiful cabins at brothers cove resort easy access in n out and with a spectacular view .I would recommend this cabin for anyone to stay in with a large group of people

Brothers Cove always does an exceptional job with their properties. No detail is overlooked. Everything was clean, and decorated beautifully. We are always pleased that whatever cabin you stay in, you feel secluded. This is not a log home community where the houses are all the same and side by side. Each house is unique, that's a very nice touch. This was our third time staying in a Brothers Cove home, and we continue to be impressed by their professionalism and the quality of their homes.
