Great cottage retreat on a private lake in the Rideau Lakes Region! This cottage is located on Tror Lake near Jones Falls, it is private and lots of fun for the whole family.
The Rideau Lakes Region is a great place to explore. You can take advantage of the great fishing, boating, swimming, water-skiing, or lock through the historic canal system to the other attached lakes and towns. In the surrounding towns and cities there are also lots of activities, and events to participate in including, golf, historic tours, boat tours, shopping restaurants, parties, and lots more!
This cottage is conveniently located not far off of highway #15 at the halfway point between Toronto and Montreal, 40 minutes from the Canada/USA border, and only one hour and 25 minutes from Ottawa. A great place for extended Families to congregate.

Property has a two bedroom cottage with a 4-piece bathroom and a spacious common room plus a sleeping cabin with a small loft.
Beds: Main cottage has a double bed in one bedroom, a set of bunk beds in the second bedroom (for smaler children) and a double pull-out couch.The bunk-house has a double bed and two single mattresses in the attic (suitable for children).
Linen service is provided for bedding. Renters must bring their own towels.

Troy Lake near historic Jones Falls on the Rideau Canal. This cottage is situated in the Rideau Lakes Township and is close to the Rideau Canal and Jones Falls Locks, but Troy Lake is not connected to the Rideau Canal.
Groceries, restaurants, shopping, and golf are in neighboring towns of Portland, Elgin, Jones Falls, Seeley's Bay, and Lyndhurst. The city of Kingston is about 35 minutes away, and Canada's capital, Ottawa, is a 1 hour and 30 minute drive.
