A beautiful and spacious loft set in one of the most historic private gardens in the centre of Florence.
Charming home in Florence historical center: this magnificent loft-style apartment rental in Florence is located in what were once the stables of Palazzo Torrigiani, in the biggest private park in Europe, located in the Oltrarno area of Florence city centre (www.giardinotorrigiani.it)
Great lodging in Florence, full of history and culture; entering in the park the apartment is located across the large lawn, passing by the centenary ginko-biloba tree. It has recently been carefully renovated, complementing the original 5-meter high ceilings with wood finishing and cast iron details to reflect the 19th Century origins of the structure.
The living area is made up of a bright and spacious, open-plan lounge, with comfortable seating and double sofa bed, a wonderful dining area flooded with light from the floor-to-ceiling windows, and a fantastic, fully equipped, modern kitchen.
The two large bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and one with twin beds, are separated by low walls to ensure the original vaulted ceilings remain intact. This does however mean that sound will travel from one to another.
The owners use this wonderful home in wintertime, meaning that it has an incredibly inviting atmosphere; the children’s room has toys and books, the living room has a wonderful bookshelf with English volumes and a Bachmann piano.
There is a weekly cleaning service included and a doorman present on working days. Upon request, it is possible to organize cooking lessons in the large kitchen with a chef that speaks English and German, and have dinners with up to 10 people and two bicycles are available for rent.
