Amidst the pine woods, which divide Cortona from Castglion Fiorentino lies this extraordinary property, which reconstruction work has just been finished. Originally meant as a family home it has now opened its doors to guests who wish to experience a home away from home. The woods which surround the property and the well maintained lawn with its colourful flowers invite the guests to feel away from it all. Adding to this feeling are the stunning infinitive views over the below-lying Chiana valley, where the famous Chiana cows are bread. The views sweep over to Cortona and the Lago Trasimeno.

A wooden pergola, barbecue and wood-burning oven invite the guests to relaxing evenings, delicious barbecues or self-made pizza whilst enjoying a spectacular sundown. Local materials such as the wood, the terracotta, even solar panels have been used therefore having a lower impact on the environment and the work was personally supervised by the owner himself.

It is equipped with all modern comforts such as wi-fi internet, AC in the bedrooms.

Adjacent to the villa lies another building which has been turned into a get together area with a big table and benches maintaining the rustic feel to it. A very big fireplace dominates the room which is ideal for family reunions or groups of friends.

The jewel though of this villa is the saline water swimming pool, which was built right at the steps which lead to the living area and is practically a continuation of the house itself.
It has a removable glass-top roof construction over the pool, which in summer can be easily moved aside or the pool can be covered again when it's raining. The water can be heated during winter time.
This is a one of a kind swimming pool with a hydromassage area where you can relax even more and which adds to this property so much more possibilities of enjoying a nice dip in the pool even in the cooler months or in the evenings when you can turn on the lights which create a colorful therapy.

There is also a natural swimming pond, a beautiful natural bio swimming pool purified by lily pads and plants instead of chemicals.

Ground floor: entrance, dining area with table seating 8 people. From here you have access to the pool, fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, gas burner, electric stove, a french door leads to the outside area where the gazebo is situated, living area with sofas and fireplace, 1 double bedroom (queen size) and bathroom with shower.
First floor: A glass staircase leads to the first floor, which hosts another living area in a sort of mezzanine floor overlooking the ground floor. The sleeping area consists of 3 double bedrooms, which all share a bathroom with shower. One bedroom has access to a terrace, which overlooks the valley and the Lago Trasimeno. This same bedroom has a mezzanine floor with an extra single bed ideal for a child.Another bedroom has access to the outside.
