Vacation Home Rental Description:
What a house! Across the street from Lake Kai, steps to the pool, this home is a short walk to Lake Michigan and the Sand Castle Playground. With four master queen suites, Grey goose is the perfect home for extended family to really spread out and feel at home. First floor has great room with fireplace, huge kitchen and double height dining room that opens to a large screen porch. The first floor master bedroom has ample space for a crib or pack ?n play. Second floor has three more master suites including a front bedroom with in-bath Jacuzzi and a huge sun deck. Up a ships ladder there is a tower room with two twin beds. The lower level of Grey Goose features a massive kid suite?bunk bed and four twins?and a private bath. Add the guesthouse, Come Back Inn (sleeps 6) and you can bring all the cousins, aunts and uncles. Grey Goose sleeps 16 with four queens, six twins and one bunk bed. No smoking, no pets.

Family Weekend Time A guest from Plain Field, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in September, 2012 Overall our stay was good. The home was delightful and was a great one for our whole family, including nine little ones. The main thing that we all felt strongly about was that the floors really needed cleaning. I even swept the porch when I got there and the rest of the floors were DIRTY. All of our socks (we usually leave our shoes at the door) were BLACK. We pay for cleaning and the floors definitely had not been washed in a long time. Several things were broken (weird dryer noise upstairs....door knobs off..upstairs bedroom lamp.....railing off of master bedroom broken and upsafe)but overall that wasn't a problem. We could live with all that. It was the floors that bothered all of us. The kitchen is delightful and cheerful. The big open area on the first floor is a great place for all to hang out. We definitely enjoyed our stay at Beachwalk....the park, the pool, the golf cart to the beach, etc etc. |

The only drawback of Grey Goose is that sound travels throughout the house so it's impossible to "sleep in." we could have used more instructions about parking restrictions, how to separate recycled stuff,etc. but the staff was great, always helpful. |

Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 Grey Goose is a lovely home, and our family appreciated having four bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The house is light and airy and was clean and inviting. The location is fine - near the playground and not too far from the pool. We had some problem with the air conditioner and the dishwasher, which were taken care of within a couple of days. Conbined with Come Back Inn, it accommodates a large family very well. |

BEAUTIFUL RESORT AND HOME Tammie R. from Round Lake Park, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 The Grey Goose was roomy (didn't seem like there were 16 of us in there), beautifully decorated and well-maintained. We all had an awesome time -- pool, basketball court, volleyball court, kayaking and fishing on Lake Kai and fishing off the lighthouse pier on Lake Michigan. The screen porch was nice at night with the table to play games at. The kids room was perfect for them -- sleeping 6 and away from the parents' rooms! They had a blast. Overall, a very enjoyable weekend -- we all wish we would have booked a longer stay. There's always next year! |

Stayed for 3 days in May, 2012 I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our Memorial Day stay in Grey Goose. The house is absolutely gorgeous. . . everything described on the web-site, and then some. I loved the 4 master suites which allowed for several couples to enjoy their privacy while vacationing together, and the "kid's suite" was perfect for giving the kids their own space to, well, be kids!Some of the extras not mentioned in the ad were the outdoor fireplace AND the fireplace in one of the second story masters, (for a total of 3 fireplaces!) and the attached garage! The house was also VERY well stocked with everything you could need to enjoy your stay.The location is perfect, with views of Lake Kai, and a short walk to the pool. We did have some trouble with the air conditioning (probably the first time it was on for the season?) but our phone call to the rental office yeilded a quick visit from a heating and cooling professional who fixed the problem within hours. I would HIGHLY recommend Grey Goose as a perfect retreat for several couples with kids. |
