This adorable two-story guesthouse is a great add-on to the Reunion House or perfect all by itself for a small family or a couple. On the first level you?ll find a charming master suite that opens to the porch through French doors. Walk up a spiral staircase to the great room that also opens to a long veranda. The cozy living area has a full kitchen, dining area, sleeper sofa and full bath. Walk across Lake Shore Drive to the beautiful ?Beachwalk? that meanders through the wooded dunes to Lake Michigan?s most beautiful beach.

Enjoyed charming homes. Valerie E. from Downers Grove, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in November, 2012 Was so excited to visit (for the first time.) The person who handled reservation was exceptional. Overall experience was enjoyable. The process for late check-in didn't happen the way representative said. Had to call and have groundskeeper let us in. Went to office next morning, receptionist didn't know about wi-fi access. Didn't follow through with paperwork that I was suppose to sign. Didn't seem to understand that we wanted the upstairs sofa to be vacuumed, it was dusty and dirty. Also, the sofa bed would not extend from sofa so person slept on top of sheet over sofa. Would recommend sofa cover or replacing cushions. The sheets (on bed downstairs) seem to have a lot of bleach in them and smelled dusty. Even with the discounted room price, my expectations were high and not met. However I think it's a wonderfully charming location and would recommend it to others. |

However, we were greeted with a "musty" smelling first floor and loud spiral staircase. The pull-out bed was very uncomfortable and stained. Window dressings were very see through and might as well not have been there. |

The location was so close to the beach and even though it the first house in Beachwalk, the lower and upper level porches make it seem you are set back from the street. We really enjoyed our time at Beachwalk. |

Our homes All Decked Out and Reunion House were a good match for our family. We had 28 relatives staying with us. Both homes were clean and decorated nicely. They were comfortable and had everything you needed for cooking and planning meals. Every night we had dinner at All Decked out. All 28 of us because it was so open on the first floor. Our family went to the beach every day. We Will have many nice memories . The only thing I would suggest is a portable toilets at the beach. |
