“La Fiesolana" is a delightful studio of 40 square meters, located in a historic building, namely a former convent, whose origins date back to the fifteenth century documented. The property is important with exposed beams and a wonderful floor typical Florentine cotto of Impruneta. Equipped with all the comforts, offers customers an unforgettable stay immersed in the history of the Renaissance city.
The studio is in a very central position in 6-minute walk from Piazza Santa Croce and a 10-minute walk from Piazza del Duomo, as well as 2 minutes from the famous district of Borgo la Croce full of shops, typical restaurants and trendy clubs and with its evocative Jewish Quarter and the beautiful synagogue.
The studio is on the ground floor and consists of an entrance hall with a small kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a large room consisting of living area and sofa bed for two people. On request it is possible to use a third bed.
Recently renovated is furnished in a very elegant with unique antique pieces such as would give the room a sophisticated look but at the same time warm and welcoming.
The same building that houses it, with its monumental entrance and the cohort with frescoed ceilings and its agaves, help to create a unique look timeless.
The studio is located in the lively neighborhood of Sant'Ambrogio where you can relive the Florence described in the novels of Vasco Pratolini, with its hustle and bustle, sounds and flavors of traditional food and wine, the arts and crafts the most original. This part of town still retains the characteristics of the Tuscan tradition, which can be found in some local eateries, including tripe, in various food products and crafts market and nearby shops. Located within the ancient walls you will be immersed in the local culture, and with the nearby bustling market and its square crowded with people, ideal for sipping wine or a tasty appetizer in the most famous Florentine nightlife. Walking just two minutes you will be in front of famous landmarks like the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto's Bell Tower and the Baptistery, the Uffizi Gallery, the Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, with the charming garden of Boboli and more yet. Alternatively, also the nearby urban bus lines 06 or C2 will take you to Piazza Santa Maria Novella station in about 15 minutes, and just a few meters away, located on the avenues, line 13, is reached the picturesque Piazzale Michelangelo where you can admire one of the most recognizable skylines in the world.
