Castello del Granduca Grande is a splendid sixteenth-century three-story castle located in an isolated position, on the slopes of a hill which is covered with olive groves. It sleeps 20 people. From Castello del Granduca Grande you will enjoy an enchanting view of the Venturina Valley and of the sea at a distance. Castello del Granduca Grande is 2000 square meters (21500 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a wide private terrace, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 1 km (0.6 miles) from the center of Venturina, where you will find restaurants, the shops and public transportation. You will find the closest beach (Spiaggia di San Vincenzo) at 7 km (roughly 4.3 miles).
To stay at Castello del Granduca Grande you will need a car. You will be able to park it free of charge inside the entrance gate.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 11 meters (36 feet) long, from 1.20 meter (4 feet) to 2.2 meters (7.2 feet) deep. The swimming pool area is equipped with deck chairs, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of the Valley. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the end of October.
Garden
The garden is 10000 square meters (108000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by tall trees. It is equipped with tables, chairs and sun umbrellas. From the garden you will enjoy an enchanting view of the Valley.

The first living room is paved with original hand-made tiles. The ceiling has decorated exposed wood beams. The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include long wood benches and a desk. From the living room you will be able to enter the garden through a French door.
Living Room 2
You will be able to enter the second living room from the first living room. The furnishings include two sofas and a desk. There is a big and age-old fireplace made of stone and decorated with majolica tiles. The room has a window with a view of the garden.
Living Room 3
You will be able to enter the third living room from the second living room. The floor is paved with precious inlaid wood. The furnishings include two sofas. There is a big and age-old fireplace decorated with age-old majolica tiles. In this room you will find a large flat-screen satellite television. The room has a large panoramic window with a view of the garden.
Dining Room
You will be able to enter the dining room from the first living room through a corridor. The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include some antique pieces. The dining table can accommodate 32 guests. There is a big and age-old fireplace decorated in marble. The room has a large panoramic window with a view of the garden.
Study
You will be able to enter the study from the first living room. The furnishings include a sofa , two armchairs and a desk. In this room you will find a personal computer with broadband Internet connection. The room has a window.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the first living room through an access area. It is professional-grade, equipped with a six-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, a toaster and other small appliances.
