Weekend Stay at 47 Chalet Dan N. from Westminster, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2012 Headed up to Tahoe for some snowboarding and a weekend getaway with some buddies. Seven of us stayed but this place could easily house up to 12. The weather was not kind to us but that didn't take away from the trip at all. Getting to the condo itself was very easy. The representatives emailed regularly and helped us with everything. The place is fully furnished with everything you need including extra blankets, pillows and even a washer and dryer. The jacuzzi and the pool table were a nice touch. Many other reviewers complained about the electronics being outdated but I feel that it added to the overall feel of the place. If you're watching TV all day then your vacation priorities are a little mixed up IMO. Overall, this was a great stay and if we're ever back in Tahoe, I will definitely be returning to this location. Thanks to Jeren and Kerry for accommodating all our needs. |

We forgot our dock for our ipod and were hoping their stereo system had a USB hook up but it didn't. Overall, for the price and location it was a great place to stay. |

Good for price but can be cleaner A guest from Mountain View, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2011 I would say the furniture, beds, sheets all need replacement. One of the twin bed mattress had a giant cavity making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. The mattress probably needed to be replaced 10 years ago. One of the sinks in bathroom was plugged up and we spent time unclogging it on the first night. The beds, linens, furniture, everything all feel like a cheap motel. The jacuzzi was very nice though and location great. Personally I would not stay here again. |

7 Chalet Court A guest from Evanston, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in November, 2010 I stayed with my family at this condo for the Thanksgiving holiday and had a wonderful time. The location was awesome, the property management company was very helpful and easy to deal with but there was just one problem; the place was absolutely filty. We were most likely the first rental of the winter season so the cleaning crew might not have even made it there. The condo came with towels and bed linens but I was not sure if they were cleaned and one of the comforters had chewing gum stuck to it. The kitchen table and cabinets were so dirty they were sticky and all of the dishes and bathrooms had to be scrubbed before use. I loved the actual condo, it had a pool table and a private hot tub that was very clean but the interior of the place was very dirty. We did not have a bad time due to all of this but it was very disappointing to have to arrive on vacation and clean. Not cool. |

Good and Bad at the same time Jackie J. from Katy, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2010 I was both pleased and not at the same time about my visit. The property is nice, however, it is not in as good quality as displayed in the pictures. There are holes in the walls, tears in the carpet, etc. My problems with the house were:-Both TVs had problems. The one in the main living room's sensor was covered so if you wanted to change channels you had to get off the couch and walk about a foot to the left. The Tv in the upstairs bedroom did not have a functional remote, and the power button on the tv was missing so you had to stick your finger inside the TV to turn it on.-There were some ants in the house-No Ac, we were informed that it did not need it because it did not get warm there but in the up stairs part of the house it did get quite warm in the morning. -Pool table's felt is in pretty bad shape and there was no pool chalk. All in all it is a nice house, however, I think that you could find something nicer with a lower price. |
