Relax on the patio looking at the river.With a spectacular river view setting, Monte's River House features the charm of a traditional river home, with lots of knotty pine paneling and beautiful woodstove. On the river side, there is a concrete patio with Weber barbecue, fire pit, and patio dining set, a covered seat/swing, and grass play area. There are steps down to another beautiful lawn with a riverbank deck, and well built steps leading down to the shore and water. The summer water level in the river is usually low enough for small children. There are a single and one double kayaks, with life jackets, for boating. There is a lawn area in front of the house with lots of seasonal flowers and apple trees. Monte's River House sleeps four in beds: a queen bed in the cozy bedroom, and two singles in the small sleeping room. There is also a queen sofa bed in the living room. The couches in the living room are big and comfy, in front of a great wood stove for your country enjoyment. T/V with vcr/dvd player, and stereo make for at home entertainment at Monte's. The home is carpeted and tiled, has a large, modern kitchen, great river view eating nook, new central heating system, and new washer and dryer. The bathroom is good sized, tile floor, and newly remodeled with a combination tub/shower. Amenities for young children are plentiful at Monte's. There is a wading pool, children's outdoor furniture, a play house, and many indoor games. Monte's River House is heaven for both young and grownup kids! We want your visit to be great!
