The upscale 1,500 SF corner unit is located at the private and gated Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club, a tropically landscaped garden with oceanside walkways, pool, 3 lighted tennis courts, volleyball and barbecue grills. From the beautifully tiled wrap-around lanai you can view the most spectacular sunsets the planet has to offer. In the morning, wake up to the sounds of the various tropical birds and the waves crashing on the rugged shoreline. The tastfully decorated 2BR/2Bath condominium has a master bedroom with a queen bed, and a beautiful view of the ocean. The second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a queen sleeper in the living room and the kitchen has just been upgraded with all new stainless appliances. Enjoy your morning coffee on our newly tiled and appointed lanai. The condominium is conveniently located just 3 blocks from the Keauhou Shopping Center which offers grocery, drug, restaurant and specialty stores, a post office and a multi-screen cinema. A few blocks north is one of the best snorkeling beaches on the island, Kahalu'u Beach Park. This beautifully-appointed condominium is sure to please even our most discerning guests. A great vacation spot on the island of Hawaii A guest from Powell, OH recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2013 We couldn't have been any closer to the ocean, hear its waves, feel its breeze, watch whales off the lanai every morning, and yet be so close to one of the best snorkeling spots on the island, groceries, etc. The condo complex is excellent, has all the amenities one needs on vacation away from home. The unit itself was sparkling clean, lots of space and windows all around. The wrap around lanai a plus! We plan to come back and visit. We love the sun and the beach, so Kona coast is the place to be on the Big Island. |

Stayed for 5 days in March, 2013 Wonderful location very near some of the best snorkeling in Hawaii. Also ideal since it's away from the chaos of Kona in a quiet, peaceful location. Unbeatable view from the superb lanai. Great layout and comfortable, inclusive furnishings. My complaints (fairly minor) have to do with a relative paucity of information about the property and grounds for those, like us, staying there for the first time. While the staff was overall helpful, they seemed fairly indifferent. On the occasions when we had to call for information about the place, the staff seemed only vaguely familiar and not terribly concerned that we got the information we needed. That we had vacationed in rental condos in the area in past years made the weakness of staffing and information less of an issue for us than for (I assume) many of the renters who come to the Kona area for the first time. I would also add that the website would be more helpful as well by looking at some of the other condo rental agencies' website that provide more complete information about the rentals. With improvement in their customer relations and information systems, this would be a five-star vacation rental. Overall, I'm glad I had done my research in finding this rental condo several months before our vacation. This is an exceptional location with very good properties and I hope the rental agency takes enough pride in offering these vacation rentals to take their customer relations to the same level of excellence. |

It had great views, nice finishes, and a wonderful location. However, the property management company needs to be a little more professional. They failed to let us know about showings of the condo to potential buyers. There were two instances where we were not made aware that the unit was going to be shown. The first time it happened, we just left and hung out at the pool. Not a big deal, but still would have been nice to know. The second time we were just about to sit down to breakfast, so we asked them to come back later. They then walked around the back side of the unit, where they could see us tyring to enjoy our breakfast on the lanai. Very awkward. They had my cell phone number, they could have called, but didn't. So, other than that, a wonderful vacation rental! :-) |
