Family fun in the sun Marc B. from Livermore, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 Great location to access anything on the island with in 45 min at most. The grounds are great. The staff is friendly. The property is a little dated and they need to make some simple repairs and changes to make this place top notch. Number one thing that bothered me was the bottom bed room wicker furniture has a very odd smell and is stinking the room up. Other than that the family had a great time and stay. Don't have high expectations of the place and you will have a great time. oh and carful the sliding door..... you'll see what I mean. |

Very nice pool, and easy to get to either the north or south sides of the island. After the first two days the weather was perfect. |

It was central for travelling and close to the airport. We enjoyed our stay there. A suggestion: leave the porch/entry way light on so that the keypad can be seen. Highly recommended condo Mistee V. from Juneau, Alaska recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in December, 2012 I wiill definantely recommend and rent this condo again. The location, overall condition of the condo, and a nightly sercurity guard were major highlights. There were only minor maintenance issues we found annoying, but did not greatly impact our experience here. The annoying maintenance issues include how we had to use boards in order to close the sliding glass door, door stoppers did not work, and window handles fell off. There were also small appliances that were older than I am, did not function very well, and I would suggest to be replaced: coffee pot, microwave, and blender. Overall, we will most likely rent this condo again next time we visit the island. Plus it has a wonderful view and were able to watch whales from the lanai. |

Perfect for young families. Convenient parking, beautiful unobstructed views of ocean. Stayed for 8 days in October, 2012 Centrally located on Kauai island, Kaha Lani Resort offers a serene environment near Lydgate Park & Beach, which is the best snorkeling spot for young children. Well maintained grounds with trees, flowers, and lots of grass area. Amenities include a laundry room, gas BBQ grills, and a decent-size heated pool. This particular unit has a full ocean view (slightly recessed) and a master bedroom/bathroom upstairs. Furnishing is simple yet tasteful and extremely functional. Highly recommended. |

Great unit...a few problems A guest from Lenoir City, TN recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in September, 2012 We found the unit very clean and well supplied...we kept it that way, gladly. We loved the location and unit! Some problems: Ahh Aloha Kauai failed to provide a parking pass (The Kaha Lani staff provided one, but said they do not service renters.) Jennie, we were told, would provide help in finding things...she could not give info. on the walking/bike path nor give clear directions to find things (did not know street names, for ex.) and was disappointed that we had made reservations on our own. We called and left a message for David about the sliding glass door and screens that fell off their tracks; he never called back. We called again and got a woman who took note. We later found out that the new owners are in process of renovating. |
