The room was immaculate, much larger kitchen than expected, and a wonderful bathroom. The view from our room was quite good, loved the twice daily maid service and the beach bags provided. Would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to family and friends. All our dealings with hawaii 50 were handled professionly. |

Short walk to the beach and all the great shopping and dining. My only advice is never rent a car from the place next door as they are the worst. The room was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. The location was perfect. I really liked the fact that it was a quiet place to shops in lobby as compared to other hotels with alot of noise and people walking around. Just quiet and peaceful. Booking with Kristin at Hawaii 5-0 vacation rentals was simple and stress free, she was very helpful. I'm looking forward to another stay soon! |

Fantastic stay in Waikiki A guest from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in January, 2013 The Trump is the best place I have stayed in Waikiki. While it is not located beachfront and does not have an overly Hawaiian feel to it, it more than makes up for it with incredible rooms, impeccable service and great design. The staff - from the concierge to the lounge to the cleaning staff - make you feel welcome and are happy to help out. Our room was impeccably cleaned, with twice daily service.The property management firm was also fantastic - prompt with the booking, extremely responsive and very accommodating. The hotel is located about a block off the beach and has a very small pool. We found it quite relaxing and quiet, and definitely not hectic like some of the other Waikiki hotels I have stayed in (Hilton, Surfrider, etc.). There are lots of amenities nearby - stores, car rental, shopping and restaurants. Our room, a studio with partial ocean view, was comfortable and had lots of space. My only criticism is that there is not much drawer space to unpack, but the rest of the suite was luxurious. The kitchenette was well stocked and easy to use - very practical if (when) you get tired of eating out in restaurants all week. We headed out to the Whole Foods and picked up great breakfast and snack food to enjoy on our patio. The twice-daily room attendants even help with the dishes!Beach bags are available at the concierge before heading out and were a nice touch - towels, sunscreen, water and fruit. |
