A fine house that can use some upgrade Rui L. from Sunnyvale, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in February, 2016 The house is close to the gate of the pine mountain lake community, and not too far from the lake. Obviously the host did put many thoughts in the decorations, with a theme of forest/lake lodge. The living area is not huge, but big enough for 4-6 people. The entertainment can use some upgrade. The TV is still an old CRT, connected with a Direct TV box with mainly shopping channels and a DVD/VCR combo. There are quite some board games and puzzles, but many in bad condition. The internet connection was broken for our stay period, the AT&T gateway had the power LED in a flashing cycle, indicating an error. Reset didn't work. Master bedroom is equipped with a king bed, second bedroom has a queen bed and a futon, third bedroom has a convertible bed that's probably just for kids. Checkout procedure requires put all used sheets in the laundry area and start a cycle on towels.

Stayed for 3 days in September, 2015 The house was comfortable and close to the marina. It is not easily walkable with young children and all the junk they require at a beach but would be ok for grownups. Pine mountain Rd is very busy with no sidewalk or pedestrian areas so taking walks with the kids was not an option. The couches and floors were pretty date and dirty, but we still had a great time.
Wonderful house! Diann W. from Merced, CA recommends this property.

Review by a guest with young kids A guest from Foster City, CA recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in July, 2012 This was our first stay in this property and overall stay was OK. The property was clean but had some smell when first walked in like had not been utilized for a long time. The smell was gone after opened up the windows and doors. The screen door to the balcony was fallen off (before our arrival) & could not put back. So that we had to keep the balcony door closed all time. There were 2 BBQ grill but none of them appears working. The gas tank was empty and charcoal ash from previous use were still there and need to be cleaned up. The hot water was good and shower pressure was strong. Although the instruction of how to use internet wifi was on the table but no instruction of how to operate the air condition. There were 2 controllers on the wall but never be able to turn on the air condition. It might be broken ? Hopefully there's some intruction for it in the future. The first night there was hot but did not need AC for rest of the days. There were some deers walked around our back yard, very close to balcony, durng our stay. The kids were excited and took a lot pictures.
Property Manager Response: Response from RE/MAX Yosemite Gold Thank you for your comments. The screen door is being replaced and there are instructions for the thermostat.
