Tidelands 1632 a dirty shame Jane & Arnie V. from Kemptville, ON does not recommend this property. Stayed for 10 days in April, 2013 My original booked property at unit 1944 had a last minute air conditioning problem and VRPros "upgraded" me to unit 1632. It was no upgrade.The Tidelands property is beautiful and well kept. VRPros does not give proper codes or information to renters, and they do not respond in a timely manner, you must chase after them constantly. They say they will call you back in 30 minutes and you are lucky if it takes only 3 hours. Unit 1632 was very dirty and worn out, filthy floors, filthy rugs, dusty, a shower door that would not close, cupboard doors without knobs, a frying pan unfit to use, little ammeties, and a TV remote broken and held together with electrical tape. I had to stay in the unit with my 2 dogs for 3 days to accomodate repair schedules. I stopped reporting problems because I did not want to loose any more of my vacation time. After this horrible experience I did switch over to unit 1944 which is a 5 star experience, and I hope to return to unit 1944 in the future. VRPros needs to actually view the units it rents for acceptability, not rely on photos, and they need to have better communications with both Tidelands in regard to updated entry codes, and their renters. Thank God for Daniel and Audry at VRPros as they both did as much as they could to try and help. Thank God I have another 2 weeks in the beautiful unit 1944. Very nice and will return again! Angela C. from Austell, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in April, 2013 I loved the spacious apartment. Everyone had their own separate living quarters where we all got along. We had plenty of natural lighting which is always a pleasure. Stayed for 59 days in February, 2013 The condo could use some maintenance aside the regular end of stay superficial cleaning. Vacation Rental Pros follows up on our service issues only after repeated calls. They are not professional in handling reservations. Other rental agencies when dealing with snowbirds renting for one month or more, will ask you if you are returning the next year before renting it to someone else. Vacation Rental Pros do not care about customers fidelity their moto is rent, rent, rent without consideration for the current customer. Winter run-away to a piece of summer A guest from Swanton, VT recommends this property. Stayed for 27 days in January, 2013 The property was very nice and the condo was great. Appreciated the elevator especially since I had elderly parents with us on this trip. The one problem area was at the fitness and pool area. Eddy was as terrific as the lady was terribly rude. Someone needs to give her a reality check on how to approach and talk to clients. We were thinking about purchasing a condo but she changed our minds rapidly. For every area that was terrific she put such a sour taste in our mouths that she ruined a big part of the trip. Stay away from the main pool/fitness area and you might be just fine.
