Galveston Early Summer Vacation David S. from austin, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in June, 2015 The house was cute, we liked the front porch sitting area. The location is great. The house has charm being a little older. Wish there would have have a little better sleep options than the cots but there was plenty of bedding so we were able to make it work.
close to beach Jose B. from Irving, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in May, 2015 Over all property was OK... no vcr or DVD player...only 1 tv and 1 restroom.. cookware is old and cheap..pillows are real.old and stained bad .. .only saw these because we removed all linen for wash..But the View is awesome!
Great Stay in Galveston Stephen G. from Magnolia, TX recommends this property.
Stayed for 4 days in August, 2014 Excellent location , basically one block to the seawall. Close to stores and restaurants too! There is enough parking for at least 4 and probably 5 vehicles (we had four). Everything was clean in the house and the beds were comfortable.

Stayed for 3 days in July, 2014 Had a great experience at Oma's Haus- 1/12 blocks from Pleasure pier, right in the middle of things in Galveston. Property was well maintained, great back porch and BBQ area, 3 bedrooms, and really powerful AC units. Highly recommended.
We would stay at Omas house again Vanessa F. from Livingston, AK recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in May, 2014 Omas house was close to the pier and the beach so we could leave our vehicle at the house rather than pay for parking. We enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for 3 days in October, 2013 We had some issues with hot water and we were shocked to see that the bed in one of the rooms had an air mattress instead of an actual mattress
Not Perfect but it's Alright A guest from Plano, Texas recommends this property.
Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 The house was on a perfect location it was super close to Pleasure Pier and right by the Seawall Blvd. Most of the rooms were in pretty good shape minus the dust on the furniture. Also one of the bedrooms didn't have a mattress per say it was made of some pillows and it was topped with a foam that once you put the sheets on it looked like a mattress. Other than that it was a perfect.
the house was clean an neet Thomas K. from Pleasant View, Tennessee recommends this property.

Mardi Gras Weekend! Heidi P. from Lufkin, Texas recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in February, 2013 If you are looking for a place close to the beach, you could not get much better than Oma's Haus. One block from the seawall! We had a view of the new Pleasure Pier, which was all aglow at night. Walking distance to shops and resturants...if you hit the local big retailers you will need to drive but who wants to walk home with an armful of bags! Plenty of room for our group! It was nice to have a kitchen, which was nice and had everything we needed. The only thing I would change is that some of the sleeping arangements were not what I expected...cots. Not very many t.v. channels, so we used the VHS player. Tapes supplied! Overall we had a great time and we WILL book here again!
