Vacation disaster Judith T. from McDonugh, GA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in April, 2013 Dirty, bugs, sofa bed very uncomfortable, Sheets were dirty. In drastic need of an update. This should not be rented until fixed. Fortunatly we were able to upgrade. BETTIE GEIGER Bettie G. from MARYVILLE, TN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 LOCATION IS BEAUTIFUL. CONDO WAS GROUND FLOOR,WALK OUT OF ROOM TO NICE HEATED POOL AND A GREAT VIEW OF THE BEACH.RENTAL STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL BUT THE UNIT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING. OLD APPLIANCES VERY SAGGY BED NOT ADVISABLE TO ANY ONE WITH BACK PROBLEMS. TV S ARE NEW AND WORKED WELL. FLOORING FURNITURE, PAINT ARE ALL OUTDATED. UNIT HAD DIRT UNDER BED AND ALL MIRRORS HAD FINGERPRINTS ON THEM. NOT SURE AIR CONDITIONERS WOULD BE ADEQUATE IN 90 DEGREE WEATHER. I WOULD STAY IN THIS UNIT AGAIN BUT ONLY WITH LOTS OF UPDATES. I FEEL WE PAID A LITTLE TOO MUCH. NEXT VACATION I'LL DO MORE LOOKING. Request Katy Z. from Indianapolis, IN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 1. The unit was apparently never cleaned as the floors were extremely dirt filled along with bugs. I spilled some water on the floor the first night I was here and wiped it up and found my rag was completely black with dirt.2. The braided rug in front of the couch was obviously not ever vacuumed and filled with sand and dog hair.3. The pull out sofa bed was covered in a dirty mattress cover which also included dog hair and rust.4. The whole side of the fridge is rusted.5. The stove burners are lined with tin foil and so is the oven. When my daughter baked some cookies last night the room filled with dirty smoke from the oven.6. Our bath mat had obviously not been washed from the previous guest as it was also dirty.7. Our blanket on our bed had not been washed as it was also filled with marks and dirt from previous renters. (yuck!!!!!!!)8. The headboard on the bed was lined at the top with dust that was visual even with the lights off.9. I am a real estate agent from Indy, and I need to work on my vacations which is why I require a unit with internet. I was promised on several occasions and even emailed ssid and password to access the internet that was NOT even EVER installed. This is costing me time and money as everything with my job is time sensitive as you probably know being in your line of work. 10. Vacation Rental Pros sent a housekeeper out to validate all of this and she was also astounded at the condition of this unit and told me I deserved compensation. She took our bath mat and rug back to her office. I could go on and on but I think these are enough reasons to prove to you why I deserve a 50% discount. Also, if I were a part of your company I would let the owner of unit 101 Beacher's Lodge know that renting their property is way too much of a business risk. It should be an embarrassment to them as well as your company. Beachers Lodge 101 Nancy S. from Columbus, OH does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 Quality control came as we were checking in. I advised there was no coffee pot. He said he would look into it and see if we were supposed to have one. Never heard back. Obviously, the location was great. The white floor gets dirty very quickly and I would of liked a mop (swifter) to clean it up. For what a coffee pot cost, I would buy one for the unit. At least get the old, broken one out of there! We did not even think about cooking. Foil under the burners? The bathroom and bedroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. Loved the shower!Overall, I think the unit could of been nicer even for what we paid. I kind of thought we got stuck there because we had a dog. The dog by the way did not do any damage to the unit. Unit 101 was a huge disappointment A guest from Plymouth, MN does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 Old lumpy mattress needs replacing (wife forced to sleep on sofa).. Kitchen table legs uneven, causing our flashlight to roll off table, breaking it. A-C/heat unit in bedroom did not work. The front door needs replacing as wind and light came through. Entire unit needs recaulking. No coffee maker in unit. In summary, we were terribly disappointed and will not return to this unit. Great location A guest from Clermont, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in September, 2012 Unit was very dated. But....Bathroom clean. Cozy bed. Location by pool& beach& downtown. Grounds were nice. Pool was beautiful. Everything well maintained.
