Nightmare Situation - Terrible Response A guest from Bethesda, MD recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2012 We were staying in three houses over the weekend with a group of 30 individuals from a church. At 11pm a third of our group went over to the house to go to bed and none of the keys worked. 8 different people tried each door during two different trips over there and no one could get it open. Of course, this would be on the night of a big storm and the emergency help wouldn't be able to get there till 4am - so we had 10 adults displaced for the night that ended up sleeping on one of the other houses floors without bedding. We finally were able to get in the next day - but did not have any power or water. This of course was not the companies fault, but not being able to get in to the property to use it the first night certainly was. The property cost us over $2000 and we thought we should get half of it refunded since we couldn't stay there for 1 of the 3 nights - and because it left us stranded in the middle of the night with no other options. Instead, they offered us $250. Just one night minimum would be close to $700. We are not very pleased to say the least. |
