Beach and Bay Getaway is a comfortable and casual two bedroom/two bath Mission Beach condo which has been recently updated and modernized to insure maximum comfort and enjoyment to its guests. In addition, the living area opens up directly to the outdoor patio area so guests can enjoy the indoor/outdoor living Southern California is known for.
This condo is ideally located just steps away from both the beach as well as the bay and has all the amenities you need to have an amazing Mission Beach vacation. Beach and Bay Getaway is a great place for couples, small families, or groups of 6 or less who are looking to make the most of their San Diego vacation.
Guests will enjoy:
- Living room equipped with 48? flat screen HDTV, DVD player w/Netflix, Hula & YouTube accompanied with a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping.
- A fully equipped kitchen complete with all stainless steel appliances and dining area which seats 4.
- Large outdoor patio with BBQ, outdoor shower, and small sun deck perfect for enjoying an afternoon BBQ or just taking in the sun and relaxing in a lounge chair.
- Master bedroom has a king size bed & full size closet with organizer, 2nd Bedroom has a queen size bed and cabinets for storage. Each room has their own full bathrooms with custom finishes and travertine and tile flooring.

November 2012, 6 nights A guest from San Francisco, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in November, 2012 The location was amazing! My family fell in love with the location and condo. Literally steps from the beach. The condo is not too spacious (more on the cozy side) but it worked for my family. It was clean. Beach towels provided. Pots, pans, silverware, plates and bowls provided. Also, plenty of wine glasses for the wine lovers. Parking is tough if you have multiple cars or have guests visiting but that is no surprise since the rental is at the beach.Just two'dislikes'... 1)The shower in the master bath (very small shower, not a tub). The shower head is really high and not really adjustable so it sprays directly against the back glass. Its difficult to adjust the water temp since the shower is so small and you need to keep the shower door open to adjust the water temp to your preference without creating a puddle on the bathroom floor. 2)If you have AT&T as your cell service, the location is a dead zone. You have to go outside to make phone calls.Overall, I would recommend the condo! |

Stayed for 8 days in October, 2012 We had a wonderful time my family and quickly got acquainted with the people near by and could walk to the oceanfront in a minute. My Mom who is 92 said it was perfect and we enjoyed our stay. |

Nice Condo A guest from Petaluma, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in September, 2012 We stayed 6 days in the condo and had plenty of room for 5 adults and even our two small pets. I don't want to say anything negative because we did enjoy our stay, but the sofabed was not a comfortable option for sleeping, but that shouldn't stop you from staying here. Less than a minute walk to the beach. We needed one item from management and he came within minutes to address it which was great! There wasn't any service for our cellphones so that was a little difficult getting in touch with people - had to go down the street to get a signal, but as far as a the house it was perfect - had everything you would need. Property Manager Response: Response from Seabreeze Vacation Rentals, LLC We greatly appreciate this kind of feedback from our guests and as a result of this review we have immediately addressed the sofa bed issue. Historically, cell service in Mission Beach has been difficult due to its limited towers in the area, but we will explore options for immediate improvement. We want to insure all guests have a great vacation. |

Families with Teenagers Not Welcome Nicki Clayton E. from Brawley, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 14 days in July, 2012 Owners live on location and felt they were watching and listening and complaining from day one. Very uncomfortable! Very annoying! Lights out at 9pm?? No talking No TV Don' sit on patio etc. Beds were awful. One TV, one ceiling fan. Bring your own because you need to keep the windows closed for fear of owner looking in to check on you. I think they rent it for the money but don't want the inconvenience of vacationers!! Been going to Mission Beach for 20 years and this was an unpleasant stay. |
