Lauren R. from a, AA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2016 Great location, the condo had exactly what we wanted, lots of space and comfort, would definitely return and recommend to others.
A guest from Vancouver, Washington recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2016 Great quick get away location that was close to the main shopping and activities of the stroll. Fixtures could use some updating but overall was good location which was great. Nice to have the hot tub on the deck.
Eliot L. from Banbury, Oxfordshire recommends this property. Stayed for 14 days in July, 2016 Our stay was very hassle free. The apartment was very spacious for three and had all the necessary utilities in good working order and easy to use. Apartment was very well kept and maintained.I have been recommending Glaciers Reach to all whom I have spoken with about our trip and any whom read this and Whistler as a destination so far is second to none.
Sheryl G. from charlotte, a recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2016 Our condo had everything we could need and was located in the perfect spot for access to the hiking we wanted to do. It was plenty of room for our family of 3, allowing space for our 18 year old son as well as my husband and myself. We were able to prepare several meals and enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking. I would highly recommend this place!
A guest from North Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2016 As usual, Glaciers Reach was a comfortable, clean, pleasant place to stay. The owner Trevor was very accommodating when I changed the number of guests we had. When I emailed staff about a lost item from a previous visit, Kari and Sara were exceptionally helpful in locating it and had it in my suite when I arrived with a very nice note! The staff are very friendly, the suite was clean and quiet. Will definitely stay here again.
A guest from Redmond, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2016 Well maintained and furnished home and we had a good, relaxing time for the long weekend. The hot-tub helped make the best of a rather rainy Saturday. The bathroom exhaust was noisy but besides that no issues.
Crestina A. from Port moody, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2016 We loved our stay here and can't wait to go back! The home is the perfect size and very clean and well taken care of. The location you can't beat with just s short walk to the village. We loved the private hottub right of the family room and the outdoor pool was great for the kids. Booking with Trevor was a fantastic and super easy experience and he went out of his way to help us with everything we needed. He is super nice and responds back to you immediately. We highly recommend bookings his unit and booking with Trevor! Thank you for a great family weekend!
Christopher L. from dubai, a recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2016 Great quiet location close to the village center. Facilities spot on, hot tub awesome! A special thanks to the housekeeper, she was great. I will definitely stay here again.
Sean C. from london, a recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in January, 2016 *Description matched experience spot on.*Property was spotless & well maintained.*Very good communication from management.*Purpose of trip was a ski vacation. Location was good just on edge of the Village. Hot tub well received after a day on the slopes! Overall the apartment was very comfortable to live in.Minor suggestions for improvements are:*Ski Boot Warmers to help dry.*A recycling waste bin for kitchen. Will use Glaciers Reach again!
justin m. from Phoenix, AZ recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in January, 2016 Very clean choice at North end of central village, and just across the street from the marketplace (grocery, liquor). We found the location very convenient but just off the party district so also quiet at night. The property manager was very organized, professional, and recommendations much appreciated. All pictures and descriptions accurate, and a good price too for our holiday weekend. We would certainly commit to this property again.
A guest from Victoria, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2015 We stayed at 48 Glacier's Reach (and also 51 Glacier?s Reach) after Christmas for 5 nights that included New Year's Eve. Trevor was absolutely amazing and the consummate professional. He answered our inquiries promptly, the booking was handled efficiently and he was superb in the follow up to help us book lessons, lift tickets and equipment at a discount and special rates. The unit itself was immaculate. The condo is modern and the kitchen comes well equipped. The TV had a good selection of channels and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The fireplace was great and the bathrooms well appointed and updated. The highlight of this unit, however, is the private Jacuzzi on the upper floor. We used it everyday, whether we had skied or not, and it is a huge bonus that most other condos do not offer. There is just no comparison to having your own private hot tub versus schlepping to a communal hot tub. In terms of location, the condo is on the tip of the Upper Village - very convenient if you want to shop at the local IGA for food but about a 10 or 15 minute walk to the base for skiing. There is a regular shuttle service but we walked most times. We stored our skis in Crystal Lodge and rented a few lockers at the same location (small fees) to keep our gear. But we saw lots of people hauling gear onto the shuttle every day without difficulty. Overall, it is not too far from the action but far enough away that you are not distracted by all the Village noise. This condo backs onto the tennis club away from streets and was quiet. Parking was fine with ample underground parking. Overall, we would absolutely, 100% recommend Trevor and this condo for anyone. Spacious with all the amenities, quiet and convenient location but close enough the Village to enjoy it with an absolutely superb owner who clearly cares about his business and you enjoying your stay.
Lesley R. from a, a recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in November, 2015 Had a great time at glaciers reach. It met all our needs, very nice to have a hot tub on porch. Easy walk to village, beds were very comfortable. Definitely needs a paint job to refresh it, but all and all everything was great!
Jesse F. from surrey, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2015 We had a fabulous stay. Property was within walking distance everywhere, complex is very quiet and very friendly people. Kitchen fully stocked with any equipment you would need and the beds are super comfy. We are definetly going to be staying here again in the near future :)
Colin J. from a, a recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in August, 2015 Disappointed as there for 2 days and when we checked in should use hot tub that afternoon or evening as it had been cleaned and drained so cold. appreciate cleaning has to be done but should have been done earlier so heated up by evening. Owner however did not hestiate to give us 30 dollar credit as per his terms
A guest from Invermere, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2015 My husband and I stayed here with another cupple and it was a perfect size. Master suite has a large walk out deck, master bath and closet. The other room was a bit small with 2 beds pushed together and there bathroom was not attached to the room but was still better than a hotel. The living area is spacious with a large pull out couch, table and 4 chairs. The kitchen has all the supplies you could possibly need for a weeks stay, including a blender which we used for margaritas. He deck off the living room has a small older hot tub but there is a separate pool and hot tub as well that opens at 10:00. The guy organizing the booking was great and everything was clean! I am recommending this place to all my friends and family! Loved it!
Marilyn F. from a, alberta recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in July, 2015 Our suite was clean and close to all the shopping restaurants we could walk to all. They had everything you could need including dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer.
Great location close to all amenities in Whistlers lower village.
Nick R. from d, e recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2015 Stayed for 6 nights in this 3 level combo with two balconies and hot tub. Lots of space and two bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Great stay.
Louise H. from a, a recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2015 I booked Glacier Reach for a two night stay with my parents during their visit from Ireland. We were very happy with the accommodation which was cosy and homely with all the necessary mod-cons. The hot tub was such a bonus, particularly as the weather was cloudy&cold during our stay. Glacier Reach is so close to Whistler village and convenient for visiting shops and restaurants. Check-in was made easy by the fact that I printed off the email instructions which were very clear. The only negative comment I have is that the shower in the main bathroom was not working properly so I had to use my parents en-suite. I would definitely recommend Glacier Reach.
A guest from savigny, a recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2014 We rented a property for four nights , before going there the web site gave us information about the location and how to get there . The instructions were really simple and well indicated so we found the place quite quickly. When we entered the property we were happy by the look and space of the living room . The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms were a good size . We especially liked the easy use of the gas fire place which kept us warm without any difficulties .Everything was nice and well organised . We also found a guide book wich was really useful because it had all the informations to go to restaurants and do activities . That's how we found some great places in whistler like the restaurant Mongolia or when we did some snow mobil wich was awesome . We do recommend this place and had a really nice stay !
Dmitriy S. from Everett, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in December, 2014 Overall it was ok. On the arrival we found that the place was not cleaned yet. The lady that was supposed to clean the unit did not even know that we were checking in that day so the unit was not on the schedule for cleaning. The bottom line the unit was cleaned, but since the cleaning was done in the hurry, janitor forgot to take out the garbage. Other than that the stay was pleasant. We like the fact that there were plenty of towels. :)
Lynell R. from Auburn, California recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2014 We had a great time at Whistler staying in Glaciers reach. Trevor and his staff make sure we are happy and taken care of. Excellent service, clean condo in a perfect location. Great fun, affordable and very special.
gina w. from Burnaby, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in May, 2014 Amazingly close to everything, but without all the noise. Was great to see cooking spices, oil etc in the kitchen so we didn't have to go and buy it all. My family from England were amazed and loved it! I would definitely stay here again and again. We couldn't find any instructions for the fireplace was really the only downfall.
A guest from Coquitlam, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2014 The quality of amenities inside the rental is not perfect but it is functional. The hot tub & pool is the best compliment in the place. The proximity to the 'village' commercial area is excellent. I'll definitely recommend it to a friend.
Allison P. from Delta, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2013 This is our 4th time staying at Glacier Reach, but our first time in this unit. It was by far one of the nicest we have rented. Everything was spotless and well stocked (ie: towels, toilet paper, even coffee and tea). The hot tub worked great and is very private. Overall we had a great experience and look forward to coming back to this unit :)
Tina S. from Burnaby, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in August, 2013 Both my partner and I were very satisfied with the condition and value of this property. The hot tub was very clean, and we were very happy during our stay. The sanitation manager, Sarah was friendly and competent in her job. The distance of this accommodation to amenities is outstanding. Thank you. We will definitely rent again when we return to Whistler... Tina & Mike
Danielle B. from Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2013 My friends and I were extremely happy! The ONLY downside was the 10 am checkout time but that was only too early because we'd been partying it up at the Squamish music festival the night before! Everything was clean and it was so awesome! I will most definitely be coming back again!
A guest from North Vancouver, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2013 Great location. Close enough to all amenities, yet not too busy or loud. Unit had everything we needed, a few bumps and scrapes but very clean. Only down side was that the pool was closed for maintenance 2 of the 4 days. Note that this unit has lots of stairs! Fine for us, but maybe not for some.
James W. from Chicago, IL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2013 Pros include the amazing location closer to lower Whistler village that gives great access to IGA for shopping and smaller/unique restaurants. Two adults/two children slept very comfortably, and kitchen is fully functional. Ideal for parents with two small children and affordability a plus. Having a personal hottub is great too. Small cons are that the chlorine is at peak level in the hot tub (if the jets are on expect some coughing). Further, it's very functional (aka minus luxury). Can also run a bit on the dark side during daytime (but it was VERY quiet and perfect for sleep at nite considering other revelers). Management very professional and quick with responses. As a whole a good experience!
Eric L. from Bellevue, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2012 Pros:- Checking in/out was a breeze- #4 Bus right across the street takes you directly to Whistler Gondola- Marketplace right across the street makes grocery shopping a 2 min walk- 2nd floor hot tub feels very privateCons:- Place is smaller than it looks in the photos- Walls are thin, neighbors complained about noise even though we didn't have the TV on or any music blastingSummary:- Overall a great place to stay for a Whistler trip
Corey G. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in December, 2012 I found the location perfect and easy walking access to the Whistler Village Stroll. The property was quite and well maintained. The only downside was the can didnt work at all and trying to open our coffee can first thing in the morning without success can prove to be frustrating x 10. Another suggestion is maybe have guest robes or larger towels for the private hottub. Thank you and we all truly had a great time at your rental and would love to stay again.
A guest from Surrey, B.C. recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in October, 2012 Glacier Reach is a very nice complex and a great location. We have stayed in 4 different vacation rental homes and this was our least favorite. We found the fridge very noisy at times. Sounds like it is on it's way out and the beds were not as comfortable as the other 3 rentals we have stayed in. Trevor is great to deal with and would stay again in another rental. We would like to see a picture of where the rentals are located in the complex on the website.
Marcelo V. from v, b recommends this property. Stayed for 33 days in July, 2012 The house is very nice, just as described. Trevor is very professional and flexible. Will definitely try to stay there again next year!
A guest from Surrey, BC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in June, 2012 The experience was good and the hot tub was fantastic. The TV worked great with the PS3 and watching football. The only problem was the door kept on not unlocking fully making it difficult for us to open it at times.
Property Manager Response: Response from Whistler Vacations Thanks for your feedback on the lock Steve. I have replaced the lock with a more reliable system.Trev
A guest from Watertown, MA recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in March, 2012 The condo was clean, had everything that we needed, hot tub was great, and it was walking distance to the lifts. Also, the owner went above and beyond to make our stay great.
Jonathan R. from Sutton, Coldfield recommends this property. Stayed for 10 days in February, 2012 Three of us stayed at Glaciers Reach condo at WHistler village. Very easy to locate. Ski passes ordered were not inside the apartment but once contacting the owner by phone located them easily enough.Very clean apartment with hot tub which was great after extensive skiing.recommendation for ski rental, though not the cheapest was very good and we were able to leave our gear their overnight with just a 5 mins walk to the lifts.I had the double room with en-suite which was excellent, my friends a twin which was fine though they said it was terribly hot despite having the thermostat turned down. TV and lounge area/kitchen were good and spacious. No need for us to use the sofa bed as we were under occupied.A modern electric kettle would be a recommendation. Overall a terrific place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
A guest from San Diego, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in February, 2012 First off, the price of the unit far exceeds anything else, it is a steal for a walking distance condo to the lifts. (About 10-15 minutes to lift through the village walking paths)The unit is nicely appointed, nice 40" flat panel TV, leather couch and chairs, wood floors. Kitchen is a bit small - if you are in to cooking a lot this may not be the ideal setup for you. We made one dinner and a few other meals and it was OK but I would not make a lot of dinners for a big group in this kitchen. Does not have a lot of cooking utensils or any condiments. It has the basic necessities of plates, cups, etc. The main bedroom is good size, the second bedroom is very small with two twin beds jammed together. We had 2 grown men in there and it was a bit too cozy for comfort. If you have kids or want to put the beds together it would be fine. But two grownups, not so much. The jacuzzi is nice to have as a private one, although it is a 2 man unit and we could not get it super hot sometimes, and could not get the jets on other times. None the less it was great to have a private jacuzzi. All in all a great value and we would stay here again for the price. We recommend the unit to others.
vickie z. from s.w. calgary, AB recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2011 It was a perfect place for our family of 4 to stay after all the exams and stress of university. The place was great and just a short bus to the hill but across the street from the grocery store. The girls are already asking about doing it again next year!!
Allison M. from Bellevue, WA recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2011 The Glaciers Reach buildings are in an area that's very convenient for the bus shuttle system, walking to the Village and buying groceries and liquor. I have only stayed in maybe 4 or 5 different units over the years, but they have all been dark and cramped. If affordability is your top concern, and if you plan on sliding and partying most of the time anyway then you won't mind spending time in these units. I'm giving 2 stars for the unit's general condition. Kitchen lightbulbs were out, a smoke detector was missing and the shower faucets were loose. When we asked for the hot tub temp to be lowered, it then went too low. On the plus side, the place was very clean.
John C. from a, a recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in November, 2011 The place was great, walking distance to everything. The only thing missing is some board games, for those rainy days/night. We would definitley stay there again.
