The apartment is located right in the center of Partenkirchen on the old historic Ludwigstrasse, in which King Ludwig II stayed on the way to the Schachenschloss castle. Charming farmhouses decorated with stucco and frescoes, quaint farms and upscale restaurants give the city its character. The apartment is only minutes walk to the new ski jump and the Olympic Stadium.
The center of Garmisch and the Zugspitze mountain railways are located 1.5 km away. In winter the region offers excellent winter sports facilities. In the summer, the lake area near the apartment offers a wide range of swimming and other aquatic sports. Garmisch-Partenkirchen is pure Bavaria, this is also true for restaurants.
