Thanks to the ideal surroundings, you are fortunate to enjoy a spectacular nature with majestic alpine views. You are just a few minutes away from downtown Garmisch-Partenkirchen where you find spa facilities such as a hydrotherapy pool, a swimming pool, a mini-golf course, and the Zugspitze railway. You are also close to trails, a bus stop, and several shops and restaurants. This an excellent starting point for summer and winter sports.
Oberstdorf is a perfect place for skiing in Winter with access to many different ski areas to chose from. You can get a "Kurkarte" for 2 Euros per night. With this one you can use the Skibus (a shuttle) to the lifts for free. The shuttle stop is located about 3-4 minutes from the apartment. Please ask for exact location of the shuttle stop when you arrive and the owner will provide directions. Depending on which ski area you like you need about 5 to 15 minutes to get there.
From Road B23, please drive on Zugspitzstraße until you reach the Märkl grocery store. Turn right on Waldwinkl. Eldelweißweg is on the left.
