The house is a nice new construction which was finished in 2002. It is surrounded by gardens and meadows and has a floor space of 120 sq.m accommodating up to 8 people on three floors. On a quiet side road with direct access to beautiful hiking trails in the nature park Nordeifel and nature reserve Hohes Venn.

The ground floor houses the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, guest toilet, spacious living/dining area with satellite TV and laundry room with washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board. Access to terrace with outdoors furniture and 250 sq.m lawn, for your sole use, from the living room. Lawn also has slide, swing, and sand box for children.

Two friendly, bright and large bedrooms, with one double bed and wardrobes each, and spacious bathroom with shower / bathtub, washing basin and toilet.

Top floor consists of an open gallery, which can be used as living and bed room (with sleeper sofa). There is also a separate small bedroom with sleeper sofa and baby bed here.

Kalterherberg is the most popular starting point for hiking in the fen, located just outside the reserve Hohes Venn.

The Venn is within easy walking distance from the house.
