Our two houses in Garmisch are at slightly elevated ground close to the calm forest edge, only a few minutes of walking from the Garmisch city center. Skiers or hikers can get to the cable cars in five minutes of driving; beautiful hiking trails to the Kramerplateau-Trail start right at the house.

Our houses are ideal starting points for hikers and mountainbikers planning tours in the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains.

How to Get to Garmisch:
     * BAB A95 Munich-Garmisch to the end of the autobahn, onwards on B2 to Oberau
     * into the tunnel Farchant, turn right at its end onto B23 towards Grainau/Fernpass
     * on the Burgstrasse into Garmisch, right before the bridge over the Loisach river
     * at the large intersection with traffic light, right onto Loisachstrasse road along the Loisach river, and
     * right into Maximilianstrasse at the next bridge to
     * where the the main entrance of the sports field is, there right onto Almhüttenweg, to the first house on the right
