The beds were not very comfortable, the living room couch and chair were terrible to sit on. We noticed also that you walked uphill when you were walking toward the dining area. Also it rained hard when we got there and the driveway area near the steps flooded. We had to walk through inches of water to carry our things into the house. The deck and covered car port were very nice. |

Prior to Carolina Shores Vacation Rentals the home was managed by another company. We were NEVER completely satisfied with the service of this "other" property management company but continued to go because we loved the house in Colington Harbour. The folks at Carolina Shores coudn't be more pleasant or helpful. Our vacation was very nice and we will be going back. Carolina Shores in HIGHLY recommended by a seasoned OBX vacationer from Maryland. |

Happy Our's Vacation Rental Review Melanie D. from Greenville, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2012 The home is settling somewhat so the floors along the dining area and kitchen are at an obvious angle, which meant to keep the refrigerator door open you had to let it rest on your back or prop a chair in front of it to get groceries inside. The porch was wonderful with plenty of outdoor furniture and a lovely view of the canal. The home was clean, but not spotless. We found a scrabble letter "o" under the hallway rug, so it had not been moved to sweep and there was $100 Monopoly money in the couch coverlet. One downfall was no outdoor shower to rinse off sand prior to entering the home. Also, the pic shows a basketball goal, which is no longer there which was a disappointment to my son. Overall though, the home is nice and I would consider staying there again. |
