A great location, but this condo needs updating A guest from Marianna, GA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 4 days in November, 2014 Villas at Seacrest Beach is a great location for a vacation, within easy walking distance of the beach, stores and restaurants. The lagoon pool is huge, although as it isn't heated, we didn't use it over the Thanksgiving holiday. We have stayed in 4 different units there, and in comparison to the others, this unit needs updating. On the plus side, there was enough seating in the living and dining areas for a group of 10 people, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses and pots and pans. But some of the beds were very uncomfortable, and the mattresses were covered with plastic, which was very noisy every time you moved. There were no hairdryers, or alarm clocks in the bedrooms, and 3 out of the 5 TV's were very outdated. The living areas seem to have been painted fairly recently, but the bathroom walls in particular, were quite dirty. There is now wifi in the condo, but as other guests mentioned several years ago, the key still has to be removed from a lockbox at the door. It is very awkward to open and close the lockbox, and in one instance the cover dropped onto my foot. The rates for this unit may be less than some of the others, and there are a limited number of 4 bedroomed condos there, so some people may want to overlook the negative aspects.
Not up to my expectations Beverly B. from Oxford, MS does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in June, 2014 First off let me say that I love the location. The condo was not as clean as it should have been considering we had to wait till 4 p.m. to get in and check out is at 10 a.m.?? Our feet were black on the bottom from walking around on the tile floor. There were no hangers at all in any of the closets for our clothes. Some of the dishes were dirty and had to be washed. There were plastic covers on the beds that were torn or smelled of urine. We have stayed at other properties at this location and they were much cleaner and accommodating to us. I am a travel agent and would not recommend this property to any of my clients. Either the owner or the cleaning crew needs to take some time and clean this property and provide necessities to the guests!!
302C Seacrest Villas Marion W. from Birmingham, AL recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in May, 2014 Been staying at Seacrest for years, and this is the 1st time we had a less than stellar rental. Unit BADLY needs updating - beds are awful, needs new pillows, toilets will not flush properly, toilet seats broken, nasty stains on carpet, fridge will not shut unless you remove bottom drawer, furniture in den area filthy and smells, televisions very antiquated, master bath is a nightmare, WIFI worked periodically, chairs missing chunks of wood on edges so that we kept cutting ourselves, when we arrived all dishes/glasses had been put away dirty with chunks of dried food on them. One key did not even work, so I took the working key to ACE hardware and had another made. Love the location, but I was very upset, and very disappointed. I would make owners update in a heartbeat.
Great view and location A guest from Mcalester, OK does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in May, 2014 I am torn writing this review. The property itself was very spacious, 2000 sq. ft. Nice large balcony. Great view of the pool. The elevator was convenient. Parking was close. They offer a shuttle to the beach. With that being said, heads up to the next guest, the condo wasn't very clean. The floors were sticky from what I guess, the cleaning solution they use and most if not all the furniture had stains and were very "worn". I am glad rented the condo since it was so reasonably priced (probably for the reasons I just mentioned)but I would most likely spend a few hundred more and rent a better kept condo.
Property needs updating Michelle C. from Alpharetta, GA does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in April, 2014 Reservation specialist claimed to call me with the check in code on Saturday. We waited several hours and she did not call but when I called she said she left me 2 voicemails which was not true. this wasted much of our Saturday. The key lock box was very problematic. Unit should upgrade to key punch entry like other units. Bed linens and pillows need to be upgraded. this is not an inexpensive unit so the sheets, towels and especially pillows should not be so cheap. Had major issues with the fridge. Called for repair. waited around one entire afternoon and repair man did not show up. Had to call back the second day - he finally showed up and fride broke again the next day. Cookware is very cheap and needs to be replaced - especially frying pans with rust and teflon chipping. location was great. unit was spacious - just needs to be upadated given the cost to rent.

Stayed for 7 days in September, 2013 Overall the stay was very good. Location and the area was awesome. Very quite stay and pool area was very clean. The 2nd spare bedroom had some issues with the plastic cover and the fitted sheet on the bed and the TV in the room did not work at all. The 2 smaller bathrooms needed cleaning up especially the walls and behind the doors. Almost no cable channels were available including no movie channels or sport events. Living room and kitchen was awesome. Dryer was functional but dried slowly and inside bowl and door had a lot of rust. We enjoyed our stay overall and would recommend the unit highly.
Less than thrilled. Dave W. from St. Louis, MO does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in August, 2013 Arrived on Saturday and told by management that carpet was dirty and would be cleaned. Then told it would be cleaned on Monday. Never was cleaned. Blinds very dusty, air vents extremely dirty, kitchen floor sticky, walls scraped up, dust stuck on wall above kitchen cabinets, broken shelf in fridge, mold in shower. Management did send someone to clean floor, and air vent. While there she sliced her finger open. Said she would check on carpet cleaners, never heard anything. Stated ethernet hookup in living room. Actually wifi in masterbed rm. Called for password never heard back. Found wifi password hidden on side of fridge, note curled over. Had to find spare key and pool passes in bottom of a basket covered by papers. We have stayed in the same unit two buildings to the left and it was wonderful. Not what I expected based on the price.
Nice Place But Be Prepared To Walk A Lot!! Charles W. from Fort Smith, Arkansas recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in July, 2013 We had a nice stay and the property was clean and fairly well maintained (needed some interior paint). Some issues but with the reservations and check in. The original unit we rented had the wrong pictures for the actual unit we received. When we discovered the issue we had to take the less desired property. We were told that the unit we were to receive had a gulf does NOT! It is across 30A and at least a 1/4 mile from the beach. You can not see any beach or water from anywhere in this unit. The free shuttle offered to the beach was terrible. Never answered, never showed up or was a hour wait. We never got the shuttle...NEVER. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. The pool is awesome and well maintained! Decent place but over priced for the amount of walking you must do. Recommend but only if you enjoy walking!
Not Impressed! A guest from Edinburgh, IN does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in June, 2013 The building and pool were lovely. The condo was not that clean, décor was not that great, one of the beds had duct tape on the mattress pad. Pans were terrible, wouldn't cost that much to update those. I was told flat screens were in each bedroom and they were not - old TVs. For the price, I thought it would have been much nicer.
Property Manager Response: Response from Select Homes, LLC We're not sure what the guest's expectation was for this property. It was cleaned and inspected before their arrival. We ask all guests to advise us if there are any housekeeping issues so we can address them. We never received any communication from the guest that there were housekeeping issues. All appliances were in good working order. The pictures and the description of the unit on our website depict the TVs. Nowhere do we tell the guest that there were flat screens in all the rooms, just the living room. If there were any issues with the kitchen utensils they could have called the office and we would have replaced them. However, this property usually gets rave reviews because it has great décor, is open and spacious and nicely appointed.
New Experience A guest from Colombus, OH recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in June, 2013 We loved the location( the only way it could have been better is if it was oceanfront, the pool was magnificent. The condo itself needed a little more TLC.For the money we expected a little better. Cleaning crew needs to tighten up.We had some minor maintenance issues and when we called them in they responded quickly on most but did not call or come back to finnish that week(things that should have been caught before we checked in,doorknobs loose(3)?? and numerous lightbulbs out). Some amminitties listed we could not find nor did any of the condo asso. employees know including the lady in the office that I reported the maintenance issues to(she said she would find out and call back, she didn't). Overall we had a great time( our first to the area), and would come back for sure.
Stay Tammie W. from Hendersonville, TN recommends this property.
Stayed for 7 days in May, 2013 Our stay was great with the exception of the following: We had to place numerous calls to receive pool passes (took two days to receive and then they were the "wrong" color) and to receive an additional set of keys that we were told would be located inside the unit. Everyone we had spoken to while booking our stay were fantastic to work with. However, Sarah, the person we had to work with to get the additional key and a pool pass was extremely rude and contentious to put it mildly.
Outdated !!! A guest from Dothan, AL does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 8 days in March, 2013 This pace is the best location in seacrest. We have stayed in many places in seacrest and this is the most outdated ever. The furnishings were very outdated and there is fake flowers everywhere. The towels will take ur skin off and the pots and pans were bought at a garage sale. We didn't even have enough pots to cook spaghetti. If you want a nice place don't stay here so many beautiful houses in seacrest.
spring vacation Tom M. from Bloomngton, IL does not recommend this property.
Stayed for 7 days in March, 2013 been at complex multiple times. Although the unit was spacious, it appeared to be in need of some updates including more comfortable funiture, larger TV, and WI FI availablity.

Stayed for 7 days in September, 2010 Magnificent view of the unbelievable lagoon pool. Beautiful decor, clean, and had everything you could want. Check in and out could not have been any faster or easier. Courtney @ Best Beach was always helpful with any questions. A great place to stay.

Stayed for 7 days in May, 2010 The only complaint I have is the TV in the living room was undersized. Luckily we had really good weather so it was not really an issue.
Away from the commotion Rebecca M. from Wetumpka, AL recommends this property.
Stayed for 2 days in April, 2010 We made the mistake of not researching upcoming events in Panama City Beach prior to our booking (Thunder Beach.) Fortunately, we booked our stay at Seacrest! This condo was ideal. It was away from all the craziness of the strip, yet close enough to go and enjoy the shopping during the day. The condo was everything we wanted inside and out. The pool was wonderful, and it was a very short walk to the beach. There is dining, and shopping spots within walking distance.
