Heaven's Gate is a beautiful log home located in a private gated community that was once a summer camp for children. The rustic community is nestled between beautiful Lake Lure and Rumbling Bald Mountain with over 1,000 acres of undeveloped land. This land was purchased by the State of North Carolina as part of Chimney Rock State Park. It is perfect for all activity levels from easy walking to rock rappelling. Plan to spend your nights watching deer, wild turkey, owls, and flying squirrels, but please do not feed the bears! A waterfall and several creeks are located within walking distance. It also offers Lake Lure access.

In the home itself there are three (3) bedrooms and three (3) bathrooms on three (3) levels with separate A/C zones, allowing you and your family plenty of privacy and an abundance of space with maximum comfort. The main level offers a wraparound porch, living room with stone fireplace, high ceiling, kitchen/dining area, and private bedroom. The upper level has a king bed, bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a pull out queen sleeper sofa in the loft area. The lower level is outfitted with your children in mind. It has a full and twin bed as well as a bathroom with a shower/tub. The spacious family room comes complete with a wet bar, foosball table, PlayStation 2 system with plenty of games, movies, and board games for those lazy rainy day afternoons. The home has two televisions including a 61" in loft area and a DVD player.

This mountain home is perfect for every season! Enjoy the beautiful snowy weather in the winter where a cozy cabin feels just right. Stay warm by the gas-log fireplace or relax in the master bath’s jetted tub. Visit in the summer when the weather is perfect all the time and you can enjoy the soothing summer breezes and beautiful sunsets from the porch overlook. No matter the season, this mountain home and the city of Hendersonville, with its plentiful restaurant and shopping options, fun outdoor adventure, and so much more, will provide you and your loved ones a getaway to remember!

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. or later at Carolina Properties Lake Lure office.

Check-out time is 10:30 a.m. or earlier at Carolina Properties Lake Lure office.

In addition to the rent the following charges apply:

$20.00 Reservation Fee

$90.00 Cleaning Fee

$45.00 Accidental Damage Insurance

5% Rutherford County Occupancy Tax (on rent)

6.75% NC State Sales Tax (on rent and reservation fee)

Cancellation / Transfer Policy:

If a confirmed reservation is cancelled or transferred, a processing fee of $50.00 and the $20.00 reservation fee plus applicable North Carolina State Sales Tax will be charged against the Advance Deposit. If the cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to arrival; all funds received will be forfeited, unless the property can be re-rented for the cancelled period for the full amount. Please allow 30 days from the date we receive your cancellation notice for any of the Advance Confirmation Deposit to be returned (applicable only if the unit was re-rented).
