Heavenly waters escape A guest from Madison, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2013 Everything was great! The only complaint was that it was not actually in Blur Ridge so it was a little drive to get there and also there was not good water pressure. Everything else was great! |

My stay in this 7 bedroom cabin! Shawana P. from atlanta, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2012 The house overall was ok! It was what I expected , it was kind of an older house. But still in good condition. There were a few things that I had a problem with! The funaiture was very weak ,the fire place didnt work, they advertise a screen in the rec room but i've yet to see. The best thing about the home is the view and the space. It a nice home for a large family and if you know what to expect. |

Loved this place and will be back!! Paul B. from Lawrenceville, GA recommends this property. Stayed for 2 days in October, 2012 We spent our anniversary weekend here and absolutely loved it!! Its the perfect paradise getaway for couples! The outside views are even better than the pictures show, and the cabin itself is decorated like something out of a magazine with lots of unexpected little extras. It was also very clean. The mattress was so comfortable that before we left we searched and found the brand so that we could buy one. Our only negatives (and reason for the 4 star rating) were a faint moldy smell on the first floor and the dishwasher was broken. Otherwise a perfect stay and neither of those reasons were bad enough for us not to want to return! The cabin is a little further from Blue Ridge than we expected, its located in the town of McCaysville (about 20 minutes away from downtown Blue Ridge). The travel to the cabin was a little rustic but the roads were easy to navigate. Warning eat in Blue Ridge, not many choices in McCaysville. If you must eat in McCaysville find the little Cuban place downtown and get the Cuban sandwich, very authentic and delicious! The rental company was great, easy to work with and helpful with suggestions! We would definitely return to this cabin again! |

Very relaxing! A guest from WASHINGTON, GEORGIA recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 The seclusion, the woodsy surroundings and the rushing river made for great sleeping and peaceful, restful stay. The appearance is very modern and beautiful but not comfortable for just chilling. We had Chef Douglas in from Cabin Cuisine and he was great and the food was great! He cooked and cleaned up for brunch and dinner 3 days- what more could you ask for...... would go again. |

A beautiful retreat! Patricia F. from Wesley Chapel, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in July, 2012 The house and the location was absolutely beautiful. The house well appointed and very clean. The kitchen can use more cooking utensils...and the oven needs a temperature adjustment......but with that being said..there are great local restaurants to eat at.. We had a wonderful time and plan on renting this house again in the very near future. |

Truly a Heavenly Escape A guest from Vero Beach, FL recommends this property. Stayed for 6 days in July, 2012 This was exactly the kind of place we were looking for--sitting on the edge of a rushing stream, thickly wooded providing lots of privacy (don't know about fall/winter, hot tub overlooking it all and lovely contemporary furnishings, including flat screen TVs. The remotes were mismatched and instructions would help, the kitchen could use some oven pans and there's little water pressure for bathing. We did have one day when four trucks used the private property to pick up tubers and rafters because of the easy access; tasteful no trespassing signs at the driveway and by the water would help. The property mgt. company should update their sign to match the company name on their letterhead and the address number isn't shown anywhere on the building. We went to the wrong office first. Be prepared that this cabin is almost 15 miles from the office where you pick up the key and the closest town, McCaysville, has little to offer. The access road is very long, narrow and you'll begin to think you are lost. But hang in there because if you want a relaxing, beautiful waterside escape, it's well worth it! |

Heavenly Waters Escape Ronald T. from Ten Mile, Tennessee does not recommend this property. Stayed for 2 days in June, 2012 Our stay at Heavenly Waters Escape was not a pleasant one. Upon arriving at the cabin our expectations were quickly diminished by the overpowering smell of mold. We noticed the uneven flooring which told us that water damage had occurred in the recent past. There were rotted boards on the front of the house which further supported our suspicions. We opened the sliding glass doors to air out the cabin which helped somewhat but due to the high temperatures outside, we had to close them and rely on air conditioning. The A/C unit is undersized to accommodate a house of that size, especially with the two floors. With the thermostat (located downstairs) turned down to 70 degrees, the upstairs was at a toasty 85 degrees. On the first night my wife decided to take a bath in the jetted tub. Unfortunately the jets and the filter were disgustingly dirty not to mention there was not a stopper. We opted for a shower instead. On the second day we went to a local store and bought a stopper plus supplies to clean the jets and filter. We cleaned the tub for about an hour but were not able get it to come clean. I?m enclosing pictures of the dirty jets. In other words we could not use the tub but we were charged for a nice clean jetted tub.The only saving grace to our 2 days other than the pleasant decor was the cool stream outside the house. We used the tubes located in the outbuilding and stayed in the cool water for a couple of hours. The deck is beautiful and the ambience is fantastic. Unfortunately our trip was marred by someone who doesn?t care enough to give the customer what they paid for. With all of this being said, I will not rent this cabin again nor will I ever us Kaylor Cabin Rentals again. I blame their negligence for the dirty tub and the mold smell. If I had been forewarned, I would have never rented the cabin. I plan to ask for a refund. |

A Place I'll Always Remember A guest from airabi, lousiana recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in June, 2012 Heavenly Waters Escape was truly an escape from our busy lives. My husband and I enjoyed the seclusion and serenity we experienced in this rental. The river view was awesome! The road to the rental was narrow and a little scary at some points. The shades on the bathroom windows were see-threw and that concerned me but the rental next to us was not occupied. Our overall experience was wonderful! |
