Very Disappointing Property A guest from Jacksonville Beach, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2012 we are renovating our home and needed to be out one extra week from what we had planned. We currently use vacation rental pros to rent a property we own out of town and are very pleased with their professionalism, so when we needed a place close to our home, we went on their web site. We didn't have much time to spend looking so this seemed like it would be ok from looking at the pictures. The pictures are VERY misleading, The property is so out of date and tired. The tv. is old, the master shower didn't have a soap dish, there weren't appropriate curtains on the master bedroom window and the light from outside shown brightly all night long, the stove was very old and dirty, there wasn't a "real" couch only a two seat wicker chair, I could go on. Rough Creek Rental Greg K. from St John, IN recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 We really only had to issues that were bad about our stay. We got an email a day before leaving telling us that we had to drive to St. Augustine to get the key for the rental. So after flying from Chicago to Tampa to Jacksonville, driving another 2 hrs(there & back)wasn't something we wanted to do. However, we did that and then the keys and passes weren't even at that location. After which, we called Vacation Pros and they assured us that the keys and passes were at the Ponte Vedra address. They were half right because the key was there, but no passes! We proceeded to several gates in Sawgrass to get the passes that were supposedly there. This went on for 3 days.The other issue was that we had to vacuum up ALOT of dead flying ants in 2 rooms in the condo upon our arrival. We also had to kill alot of flying ants during our stay. We understand that some are expected, but not as many that were in the unit.
