No matter the season, visitors will enjoy the ?solitary grandeur of Nature?. The open floor plan is highlighted with an actual wall of windows allowing unlimited opportunities for wildlife watching. Get a little closer to nature from the private outside hot tub where stargazing is practically a requirement. Inside the creature comforts are endless. Enjoy WIFI, a 42? plasma TV with satellite service, wood-burning fireplace and well equipped kitchen. The cozy loft serves as extra kid space and provides a reading retreat for rainy days. So much privacy and comfort will surely be hard to leave but easy to return to in any season. Winter visitors please plan 4-wheel drive vehicles.

Wild and Wonderful A guest from Washington, DC recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2013 We had a fantastic weekend getaway at Eagle's Landing. Though there was no snow to be had, we were able to literally walk up the hill behind the house and hit the trails in the Dolly Sods wilderness area. The hot tub was great once we realized you could ratchet up the temperature setting in the house (not just on the tub, which didn't make it hot enough to enjoy). The windows were fabulous and we spent many hours enjoying the views by the wonderful fireplace. Overall, an amazing weekend escape. |

Great location, awesome snow A guest from Saint Augustine Beach, Florida recommends this property. Stayed for 5 days in December, 2012 The house is very conviently located to both timberline and canaan slopes. Grocery store is about 7 miles away and there are a few restaurants(did not go to any) Driveway is impossibly steep do not reccomend going to the top. Do not follow GPS instructions, stay on main paved roads at all times!!! The hot tub is awesome and we cooked out quite a bit. Make sure the main TV is fixed before you reserve, if you are a tv person. All in all a great time great house great location. |

Stayed for 7 days in December, 2012 Layout worked well, with extra TV 'room' in the loft, so virtually 2x living areas - good for larger groups. Located just a quick 5 mins to ski slopes. Spacious, comfortable, well equipped. Management company were helpful. Driveway requires chains and 4x4 together - or a brave driver. Quite steep on the way down. We just parked at the bottom of the driveway most of the time. Would stay again definitely. |
