Newly renovated/furnished and offered as a vacation rental for the first time this year. We look forward to sharing our island home with guests from around the world.

We want you to experience the pleasure of waking up in the morning and taking a stroll on the beautiful beach in Sapodilla Bay and counting the sailboats anchored in the bay or lazing away a day on the white sand or enjoying the spectacular sunsets that are incomparable and toasting the sun as it sets in the west.

This island getaway is perfect for a week-long vacation for couples or a family.

The house is situated in a residential neighborhood and is across the street from the beach at Sapodilla Bay at the end of Harbor Gates Close. It’s the house with the circular driveway going around it. It is surrounded by tropical plants and palm trees and an easy walk to Las Brisas where you can enjoy lunch or dinner or just have a special drink at the bar listening to live entertainment in the evenings.

There will be a welcome basket awaiting your arrival with an assortment of fruits, cheeses and snacks as well as some teas and coffee to greet a hungry traveler. If you so choose, for an additional charge, the kitchen can be stocked with groceries upon your arrival. This can be requested at the time of booking.

This is a two bedroom house, both bedrooms have king size beds and en-suite bathrooms and there’s a fold out couch in the living room. It’s the perfect place for a family or two couples.

The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a gas grill that can be used on the deck. There is a washer and dryer in the basement where the beach chairs and umbrellas are stored. Everything is set up so that when you arrive, all you have to do is relax and enjoy your vacation.

The bay water is clear, calm and shallow for several yards out therefore ideal for little ones to safely splash away and explore. We have come across starfish, tiny fish, crabs and even an octopus during our explorations. I enjoy taking a swim at noon each day further out in the bay. On the beach at the south end, you will find one of our locals, Mark, who will not only share island stories with you but also has available for rent jet skis, paddle boards and kayaks. Around the bend is a sunken ship that makes for some interesting snorkeling and there is also a historical site that can be viewed from your island home. If you take the climb up the hill you will see the names of the first people to discover this island.

Booking Procedure: To make a reservation, a %50 deposit will be required. This can be done by credit card via Western Union. An email will be sent to you to confirm your reservation. The remaining payment in full will be due 14 days prior to your arrival.

Availability: Please contact me for availability to confirm but as of this writing, the house is available after April 15, 2012.

Cancellation Policy: In the event you need to cancel, a 7 day cancellation notice is required. Your deposit will be refunded back to you less 10%.

Pets: Are welcomed with a pet deposit of $200.
